In an interview with Siliconera, CyberConnect2 president Hiroshi Matsuyama had a bit to say regarding the upcoming JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle.
Even if you aren't a fan of the manga or the recently created anime, fighting game fans should know a thing or two about JoJo due to the successful JoJo's Bizarre Adventure fighting game Capcom released to arcades back in 1998, and was later ported to the Sony PlayStation and Sega Dreamcast.
Below, you will find a comment from Matsuyama himself, regarding the difference between JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle, and their previous Naruto: Ultimate Ninja projects..
JoJo is ultimately about reading your opponent’s moves in a fight, more so than in Naruto. And so the style and controls here are shaping up here more like a conventional fighting game.

As visitors of the site are well aware, GameTrailers upload videos with various Top 10 lists on a regular basis, entitled "GT Countdown". These lists cover a large variety of topics, all related to gaming, and this time they've decided to list various franchises, not solely gaming franchises, that they think should be converted into fighting games.
They explain that their reasons for making a list like this are stated to be that Injustice: Gods Among Us and Persona 4 Arena proved that pretty much anything can be turned into a good fighting game if competent developers are behind it.

The latest issue of V-Jump brings new characters for the upcoming fighter JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle.
All we can provide right now is a somewhat low-quality photo of the page, but fans should be able to discern that the newcomers are Koichi Hirose and Akira Otoishi, both from the poorly-named "Diamond is Not Crash", the fourth part of the long-running manga.
Both come equipped with their stands from the series, with Koichi using "Echoes", a sound-based stand that allows him to manipulate sounds around him to replicate the event that caused the sound. Akira Otoishi, a secondary villain in Part 4, uses "Red Hot Chili Pepper", a Stand with electricity-based powers, that can travel through wires and be controlled from a long distance.
This is the first appearance in a game for both characters, since the last JoJo's Bizarre Adventure fighting game, which was released in arcades during 1998, focused mainly on the most popular arc in the series, Part 3: "Stardust Crusaders".
We look forward to trying both of these new characters out once the game launches in Japan on August 29th of this year. No official word on an international release as of yet.
