Flux achieves a quadruple perfect during The Break #209 Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 grand finals

At the recent tournament The Break #209 which was streamed by 8wayRun, player MH|Flux managed to come from Loser's bracket into grand finals, and while there, do a triple perfect, followed by yet another perfect after a loss.

While not technically a quadruple perfect since they weren't all in a row, that's still an unprecedented four perfects in one grand final. You'll find the entire grand finals below, courtesy of Jason Axelrod. In the set, MH|Flux plays his regular team of Zero, Vergil, Dante while his opponent, Vex, uses Vergil, Wesker, Strider. It seems like a safe bet that Capcom are glad they listened to fans and added the "Perfect" screen into Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

Filipino Champ starting his EVO training June 1st, 12-16 hours per day - plans to play Dormammu 99% of the time In the hopes of retaining his Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 championship from Evolution 2012, coL|Filipino Champ has stated on Twitter that he will start his official EVO training on June 1, 2013.

For the record I do actually LIKE @InjusticeGame but for now I am focusing on Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3! Evo Training starts June 1st! Dat 12-16 hr training day!

Back in April we did a quick interview with him, where FChamp noted that he will be playing Dormammu 99% of the time at this year's Evolution. Also he specifically mentioned that he does not care about anything but winning again as he's the defending champion.

Lastly, during the interview he gave a quick rundown of what his training regimen will be.

I'll resume my "EVO training" 6 weeks before EVO that consists of 10-12 hours of gameplay and 2-4 hours of watching videos of my mistakes or losses.

You can check out the full interview here, if you missed it.
