We know there's been a new influx of people asking for new Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 content in the last couple weeks, and we wanted to let you know that we hear you! And while we be lowly Facebook page servbots, we are making sure the people who can make those big decisions KNOW that you want it! Keep up the support, fighters!

We have even seen certain writers for Marvel Comics asking for an Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 update recently and although there is nothing currently in the works, according to the Interactive Manager at Marvel, the fans' words are definitely being heard.

With all of the demand for more UMvC3 content and the sales of the game now reaching a satisfactory level for Capcom, hopefully we will see an update some time in the future.

Niitsuma cites contract issues for lack of updates to Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, doesn't have any EVO related projects currently

Niitsuma cites contract issues for lack of updates to Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, doesn't have any EVO related projects currently A few people in the community wondered why Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 hasn't received as many updates as Street Fighter X Tekken, and Capcom's Ryota Niitsuma stepped in to clarify what was going on behind the scenes and talk about if he plans on attending EVO 2013.

HolaSensitive: I'm very upset that you didn't update Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, but Street Fighter X Tekken has been updated like 10 times. I'm very sad Mr Niitsuma. Who decides this?

Niitsuma: I am truly sorry. I am sorry, but I can't explain it all here. Due to various contract issues we can't do updates the way SFxT does.

Dios_X_Reloaded: Come to Evo 2013 Niitsuma!

Niitsuma: I don't have any projects related to EVO for now, so I would have to go there on my own dime.

The community has made a fairly big push lately to get additional updates to UMvC3, and both Marvel and Capcom have acknowledged our efforts and responded to them. Capcom has stated on many occasions that there's nothing in the works at this time in regards to UMvC3, so we'll have to wait and see if they can work out a new deal with Marvel in the future.

EVO 2013's Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Super Street Fighter 4 AE v2012 tourneys will be held on PS3, training stage used to reduce any slowdown

EVO 2013's Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Super Street Fighter 4 AE v2012 tourneys will be held on PS3, training stage used to reduce any slowdown Recently, there has been a lot of talk about the slowdown on Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 on the PlayStation 3.

Evolution's Mr. Wizard, jumped on Twitter to note that it's too late to switch consoles for this year's tournament. So to help reduce any potential problems, both Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition v2012 will be ran on the training stage.

Evo is on PS3. To reduce any issues, AE and UMvC3 matches will be played on training stage. Its too late in the game to switch consoles.

The slowdown is a combination of overheating ps3s along with using vertical sync on the ps3. Not a good choice by Capcom.

Does PS3 have noticeable slowdown for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3?

Does PS3 have noticeable slowdown for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3? Since Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3's release, several players have said that there is a noticeable slowdown on the PlayStation 3.

This past weekend's Apex tournament was ran on the PS3 and a few top players mentioned on Twitter that was some noticeable slowdown on the setups at the event.

Here is what coL|Filipino Champ had to say about the slowdown after being asked if it was the monitors or the PS3s.

PS3 is just dropping frames to 45-50 fps (frames per second) instead of 60 fps.

After the jump, is an off-stream match from Apex that Arturo Sanchez filmed with a shaky cam that some viewers and even staff members here at EventHubs have been debating.

Some of the places people claim to see lag are the 5:37, 5:53 and 6:38 marks.

Let us know your thoughts after checking out the video in the comment section below.
