Mortal Kombat X: Exclusive reveal for EVO 2014 on Saturday, right before Injustice finals

Mortal Kombat X's official unveiling at Sony's E3 press conference was one of the biggest moments at the annual video games trade show this year.

Over the course of the week-long convention we also got to learn more details about the game's brand new characters, such as Cassie Cage being the daughter between Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage.

And then, E3 2014 came to an end. "Until next time," NetherRealm Studios said.

Fortunately, if you're been dying to see more from Mortal Kombat X, well, hang on to your spinal cords and still-beating hearts for just a little longer; the official Facebook page for the series has just announced an exclusive reveal for EVO 2014 this Saturday.

Aquaman can land a whopping 13 MB Trident Rushes in a row if he has a full bar to start - Injustice: Gods Among Us

Aquaman's Meter Burn Trident Rush attack in Injustice: Gods Among Us is...pretty good.

If you don't believe me, maybe EGP|Wonder Chef can convince you. Earlier today he uploaded a video that shows off some of the potential that this particular Meter Burn special move has.

Wonder Chef first shows us that one MB Trident Rush deals a whopping 14.29% of chip damage when blocked. But that's not all; the Injustice player goes on to demonstrate how much meter can be built by having the opponent block this same move repeatedly.

Aquaman builds enough meter to hit 13 Meter Burn Trident Rush attacks in a row. This can only be done if Aquaman begins with a full meter.

You can check out the footage below.

Watch Ryu make funny faces as he tells you why he's going to Shadowloo Showdown V; epic trailer ft. Kyle Herbert (voice of Ryu)

And to tell you why you should consider making a trip there (or at least, reserve the weekend for watching the stream at home), tournament organiser Shadowlogic has brought out some very big guns.

They've recruited to their cause someone that even the almighty M. Bison could never bring over to his side.

I'm referring to, Mr. Street Fighter himself. The man. The legend. The protagonist. Ryu.

Check out the trailer for Shadowloo Showdown V, where Ryu makes funny faces (kudos to Michael Shiao Chen for the animation work) as he tells you, with his soul channeled through the vocal chords of Kyle Herbert (the real voice of Ryu), why he'll be at Shadowloo Showdown V.
