Guile likely to be April's DLC character, Capcom's Matt Edwards shares info on latest Winner Stays On broadcast

I hope it's not the very end of April, but I'm not going to be surprised if it is.

I think this might finally be the Street Fighter where Guile gets more than 2 special moves (Excluding V-Skill and V-Trigger obviously)

Honestly if they know the order they should just confirm now and avoid the barrage's of "Juri next". Not like they are doing reveal trailers anyway..

I'm not interested in playing Guile but I am interested in what his vskill and vtrigger will be. If he's always had only 2 specials (I think, I don't know that's just what I've always seen people say) what would his vskill be? Just a stationary sonic boom or something? Sunglasses? And his vtrigger too? I'm also interested in seeing if his sonic boobs are going to be as quick to recover as in past games.

Damn Juri is so far off then.

The good thing here, is that at least we will not gonna have to wait till April 31 cuz April only has 30 days, YEAH!

His v-skill will be sunglasses and his v-trigger will be a montage of Nash memories in the form of a sonic boom that stuns the opponent with a confused boner on hit (chicks can have boners too). His taunt will be upside down sunglasses, they needed something new hip and cool.

I have a feeling Guile will be played like how Nash used to play like in past games.

I think guile's v-trigger should have him put on his glasses. When activated he should do more damage. It should also stay activated until the end of the round like necalli

Like i said, they should have released it when they were ready because like last month is gonna be at the very end of the month or the beginning of May. Whenever Juri is getting announced I'll get the season pass.

One thing i noticed is when Alex was released the majority of people did apprecaite his gameplay, being faithful to his original counterpart (minus DDT, obviously) and criticized the hell out of his looks (also understandable, *insert your McDonalds joke here*). When they let Guile out of the bag,i can't wait for people to start saying things, like : "Boooo, what are those new stupid moves he got (Remy's kick, anyone ?) ! I wanna play as that "classic", 2-bit, plain Guile, just like my grandpa did !!!" It'll be hilarious.

I just wish Capcom would put out some teasers in the weeks before instead of waiting for so long

Well, Capcom did put out images of Alex a week or so before his release. Guile will probably be the same way.

Well at least its the two I care least about out the way first, well I dont care much about Urien either tbh but slight more than Alex and Guile who I both really dont like and never have.

Just waiting for Juri really tbh this season anyway. Drop Blanka, Sagat and Makoto next season though and I will be hype.

Capcom plans to release the three most interesting characters last. They know what they're doing. Though I'd prefer to see Ibuki, Juri & Urien sooner rather than later.

It doesn't matter to me what the order is but having two SF2 characters in a row, maybe not for the best. At least we can only hope one plays different.

Tbf we already got a look at Guile like in the banner..he'll prob be identical to how he always was, but his v-skill and v-trigger will be completely new additions to his moveset..well I'd hope considering how little he already has.

I really hope Ibuki comes out in May..I'm not into the idea of waiting til July, but I guess someone has to wait. I'll not hold it against Balrog if Haunts just kept ordering it wrong lol.

Yet they dropped the (arguably) most anticipated one first.
Looking at the Season Pass characters, I figure two things:

1. Alex and Urien, the two most requested, would be dropped first and last respectively.
2. Guile would be out before the story update, because Nash.

I also figured that either Balrog (Gameplay change) or Juri (popular name) would be EVO month's big release.

2 special moves and V-skill sunglasses. Man, I would laugh.

Dash kicks ala Omega Guile... There's his motion move set. Boom and Flash Kick will be as always. V-Trigger will remove the charge for his moves for a limited amount of time. No clue on the V-Skill...

If they released the three most hyped up characters first (Which honestly, is either Alex, Urien and Ibuki or Alex, Urien and Juri) Then the games hype thats not based around tournaments would die faster, Guile is also essential to the story of the game, so he would need to be released before the story mode expansion in june.

Pretty much agree with what @el_Principe_de_Lety said. I almost didn't even get the game on launch because I really only got it to play as and learn Juri, but I decided I would get it and learn it so I would be familiar with the game when she comes out...but it looks like ill be waiting for a while :/

If you guys want an idea for how guile will be in sfv, just look at omega mode in Usfiv

I'd like to know first how Guile's fireballs and movement are gonna be. Nash is already crazy with how some are playing him, I'd rather have him be like a really slow moving wall with His unique attacks giving him movement. I wouldn't like how the Mets would if all the characters are suddenly dominated by Sonic Booms
