Street Fighter 5 pre-order costumes and collector's edition revealed for North America

Just this morning, Capcom unveiled the first set of alternate costumes for Street Fighter 5. These outfits will become available to those who pre-order the game at select retailers.

Check out the costumes below.

Which costume you get will be dependent upon where you pre-order. The breakdown is as follows:

Gamestop - Battle Costume Ryu
Best Buy - Battle Costume Cammy
Amazon - Battle Costume M. Bison
PlayStation Store/PC Digital: Battle Costume Chun-Li

The collector's edition of Street Fighter 5 will run you $99.99 USD and will come equipped with a number of great goodies.

• SFV game disc
- The standard SFV game disc and case is included in every Collector’s Edition.
• 10 inch, fully painted Ryu statue
- Meticulously articulated and commanding in stature, the sculpture depicts Ryu preparing for his next battle. The Collector’s Edition packaging is specially windowed as well so that you can see the top half of the statue from the outside.
• 48p hardcover artbook
- Jam-packed with design sketches and other behind-the-scenes materials that shed light behind the development process of the game.
• Code Cards for additional downloadable content:
- Udon Digital Street Fighter Comics
- A collection of some of Udon’s finest work with the Street Fighter comic series.
• SFV Soundtrack Sampler
-Curated selection of some of the best tunes from the game.
• Twitch One-Month Subscription to Capcom Fighters channel

I was hoping Ryu's alt look would have been his normal. No way he would stay clean shaved all the time. Now he looks like he has progressed. Chun's costume is a revised version of her part IV but so happy they finally took her hair down for a change. Cammy looks amazing and love that her hair is down as well finally. But best part of all REAL NIPPLES!!!! Ah love how their anatomy is getting better.

Ryu is the only costume I like. I don't like Chun-li's or Bisons costume and my only complaint with Cammy is that the diving suit (well that's what it reminds me off) appears to be thong back... If it were regular full cut at the back I would like the costume a lot more

UGHH what happen to the days when you per-order you get a free pack like they did with sf4 vanilla,mvc3 and i think maybe sfxtk. This just cancels more orders from other retailers. plus i doubt you can unlock this in the game by just playing sense this is an exclusive(down the line they will release them I'm sure). Now i have to cancel my gamestop order.

That was never said in that way. Everything that can decide the outcome of a battle is unlockable with fight money. Which basically means character will be free and can be bought through ingame money.

Aesthetics were never included in this. Think of it like League of Legends, you can play to unlock characters but you still have to buy skins with real money.

I pretty much agree with everything you said. Regardless of the statue being Ryu I really don't care for the design. I want the art book but I really don't care for anything else included in the CE. The CE with the exception of the art book sucks. I want the soundtrack but cmon a sample soundtrack?

Lots of develooers/publishers give us a full soundtrack just for preordering. I almost always get the CE but I will definitely be skipping out on this one. Preorder bonuses don't matter because I'm probably going to purchase the costumes I want anyway. Like the new costumes but I'm disappointed in the CE content.

Ryu and Chun-Li's costumes are unused designes from SFIV. They can be seen in the official works book. Overall I like all the costumes, though I wish Chun whore a Chinese dress similar to Poisons Alt instead of the dress she has on.

Sometimes I wish I found something wrong with SFV and not always look like a fanboy, because those alts look amazing. I'm waiting for Akuma to choose my main shoto between him and ryu (or poison if she gets in) but that bearded Ryu looks amazing since I have a beard, it makes my choice even more difficult. Chun looks incredible, that hair is beautiful and Cammy looks great too, I like her face better, maybe it's just the pic idk. I'm going to throw ridiculous amounts of money on DLC if they are on this quality level.

that's how cammy's redesign should have looked. I like bearded ryu, it looks more realistic.. i mean i'm sure the guy has a couple of razors in his bag, but I think this gives the "Training for Weeks on end" aspect of him a lot more ground
