Wow what best WNF I have seen in a while.

Infiltration used Chun Li from the beginning until Losers Final and Winners Final when he switched to Akuma.

K Brad (Cammy) and Online Tony (Seth) did a FT5

Online Tony won 5-4

A bit offtopic, but anyone knows if there's footage of the side games played on IVGC? On youtube I only found the main ones.

thanks for killing any desire i had to watch this.

Why would you make a comment that spoils the entirety of the event

#5
SnakeX said on March 6, 2014 at 5:43 a.m.

#4 and #5

Are the results really that much more important to you two than actually watching the matches themselves? Good matches are still good matches regardless of whether or not you know the outcome.

Every time i cant this i always get more amazed by the production value it brings each and every week. WNF is truly the best weekly stream bar none.

triplethreat99 said on March 6, 2014 at 5:55 a.m.

#6. Yes, to a lot of people it is important to have matches ruined with the results and its common courtesy to not do that.

#9
Gotomaster said on March 6, 2014 at 6:06 a.m.

Well, its there own damn fault for spoiling themselves before going to the matches.

#10
deus said on March 6, 2014 at 6:27 a.m.

good comment. i was actually looking for some kind of results to this tourney. will probably watch the matches when ever they get uploaded. cheers

PS all comment sections / threads have spoilers. fb, yt and eh are going to be full of them if you go through the comment sections. moral of the story, don't b*tch over natural online progressions that are common act.

How people, who don't want to get spoiled by the results, scroll through the comments before watching the videos is beyond me.

@12, true, sir.

its the second comment...

Because they spend an eternity in an office before they can go home and watch the actual matches.

#15
Gotomaster said on March 6, 2014 at 7:42 a.m.

So? They're still scrolling down to see them, when a link to the archives are the first things they will notice.

Chris's Ken <3. Wow, Romance got good with Sakura quickly. He was slightly better than me at DTN when I played a set against him but now he seems to have simply taken off. Great to see Socal has 3 godlike Sakura players now.

Infil seems to have changed, almost softened up. He's a great competitor who wants to win, but also values having fun in his matches.

You might want to check out SWGA_maho on twitch, the archives should be there: day 1, day 2, and day 3.

Hopefully you have better luck as twitch is acting up at the moment, therefore I can't give you proper links.

Sometimes.... I'll click an article and accidentally see who won and then half of the hype is slashed away. Still good footage to be watched but knowing the outcome sort of sucks.

#22
edrigo said on March 6, 2014 at 1:25 p.m.

I'd imagine he's made an effort to pick up some of the lingo it helps. He also seems to be playing more to enjoy himself as well which is always good to see.

Offline Tony has the best Seth in the business.

If Poongko didn't exist.

I've been wary of Online Tony since he beat Chris G last Evo. If he keeps it up he might become a serious contender.

did infiltration move to the USA? im luving this

Catalyst, are you sure Justin was at WNF? If so, did he compete, because I couldn't find his name through the challonge brackets.

This is getting serious, Chris G is gonna need to find a new way to pay rent.

I use to think Poongko was the best Seth too, but then I saw Dashio's Seth. I only wish both of them came out more often

spotlesseden said on March 6, 2014 at 6:20 p.m.

K-Brad's hot streak is over, now he goes back to being average and not able make top 3 in major for a long? Or he just got Sethed?

#32
doomfanatiq said on March 6, 2014 at 7:23 p.m.

most likely he got sethed lol, the amount of 50-50 seth can play is ridiculous lol, not hating on seth players though but basically that's how seth was designed...

#33
Gotomaster said on March 6, 2014 at 8:56 p.m.

In other words, Cammy, but more risky, I'd say it was fair.

wow, you say the dumbest sh*t on EH. KBrad doesn't just play SF4, you do know that don't you? why do pathetic people like you always complain about the player when it's the character you fear the most? sure, KBrad would probably kick your ass in real life BUT let it be understood, that he would kick YOUR ASS in SF4 and Marvel as well. KBrad understands fighting games very well, if you think he's only successful at SF4 because of a singular character and not because of:
- time put
- execution
- learning character
- learning matchups
- training mode
- vs friends, vs tourney level players (casual + tourney)
then i feel that you don't actually understand what it takes to become a good / great player. your view of the FGC n FGCharacters is very one dimensional, just like your comment.

stochastic said on March 6, 2014 at 10:40 p.m.

Awesome stuff. I'm really enjoying Infiltration's "scumbag Chun."

#37
doomfanatiq said on March 6, 2014 at 10:52 p.m.

actually I thought cammy have the advantage due to been able to jump back and punish a whiffed spd with meter, better damage and mobility means higher rewards and less risk for cammy...

but even then seth certainly have the tools to win with good reads lol

#38
spotlesseden said on March 7, 2014 at 12:53 a.m.

do you even read my comments? I never talk about character or who is better than who. I just asked why he lost to just a very good player in a long set.

go read the SCR comment too, i said cammy is a fair character and complain about top tier is meaningless in any fighting game.

I don't play umvc3. I don't think kbard can beat me in all fighting games. in a randomly select fighting game with BB, GG, Melty Blood, all version of samurai shodown V, kof, sf2, sf3, alpha, SF4, Umvc3. i maybe able to beat him right now if i get very lucky if it randomly selected samurai shodown.

Props to Offline Tony owning Chun so hard and getting Infiltration to play Akuma.
