I torrent it anyway but the reason why I hate it is cause of all the stream monsters and their spoilers in the chat.

So the Q bomb looks unpunishable by a lot of the cast. He bounces back too far.

el fuerte mirror was crazy... it didnt even look like street fighter XD. it was like a marvel game

#10
Gotomaster said on June 8, 2014 at 7:36 p.m.

El Fuerte is the dumbest character in all of Street Fighter.

#11
wallie said on June 8, 2014 at 7:38 p.m.

Q bomb looks really really good maybe too good

#12
jimbo1123 said on June 8, 2014 at 7:45 p.m.

Emergency patch Fuerte's Q Bomb to a slower startup or something jeez

#13
cris25 said on June 8, 2014 at 7:46 p.m.

And they said EX Scarlet terror was going to break the game...
But EX Quesadilla for 200 damage noooo...
Broken s***!

#14
wallie said on June 8, 2014 at 7:50 p.m.

EX Qbomb kinda reminds me of old Honda ex-headbutt except you don't have to hold down back to charge it.

#15
SonicfanQ said on June 8, 2014 at 7:50 p.m.

I could not agree with you more! I mean come one capcom you nerf fei long rekkes then give fuerte this retarded Qbomb. I Mean I am speechless.

Luckly I play fie long and the Q bomb is - 17 on block but it bounced back so far but fies rekkas got the forward distance to punish it. Most people in the SF4 cast cant do nothing about it. It even anti airs you cant even jump lol. what a joke capcom...

Character is a joke for 5 years. Gets 1 good move. "OMG NERF HIM BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO LEARN THIS MATCHUP. I WANT TO PLAY BRAINDEAD VORTEX GARBAGE AGAIN." Stay free.

#18
Green016 said on June 8, 2014 at 7:59 p.m.

I don't know about all time but he's definitely the most retarded in the SF4 series by far. And about the new q-bomb, I'm not saying it deserves to be nerfed or anything but I watched the stream and both Manny and Spab were just spamming that move to death and it was looking totally ridiculous. It was even aa'ing in the corner and everything. Just a stupid character lol.

#19
Goldsaint said on June 8, 2014 at 8:02 p.m.

stop criying poem lost because he dont know the matchup and didnt punish a lot of things, fuerte needed that buff

#20
SonicfanQ said on June 8, 2014 at 8:03 p.m.

Look dude dont start with me. I never said fei was NOT top tier and I have no issues with capcom nerfing rekkas because they were too good at times and they STILL ARE decent.

I feel they should have never given the ex verion of Q bomb full invincibility throw invincibility ill understand but what he has now is retarded not to mention alot of characters can't even punish it on block even though its -17 because he is pushed back to far. Capcoms balancing logic is way off with EX Q bomb. Its whatever ill adapt as best as I can and I will be playing feilong in that matchup because rekkas can punish a blocked Qbomb.

#21
NinjaLink said on June 8, 2014 at 8:03 p.m.

Also can you put EMP NinjaLink? thanks

#22
Catalyst said on June 8, 2014 at 8:04 p.m.

Added, not a problem.

#23
SonicfanQ said on June 8, 2014 at 8:10 p.m.

Like I said capcom balancing logic is off with this I am very disappointed but whatever. We have to adapt as best as possible until they do another balance patch because you know that move is getting nerfed for sure lol

#24
Mr2Good said on June 8, 2014 at 8:13 p.m.

There's no matchup with Fuerte. Just down get hit by the stupidity. lol

#25
mercurian said on June 8, 2014 at 8:15 p.m.

Q bomb was what Fuerte needed to make his game plan solid, but the EX one is just a bit too much.

#26
Smorgasboard said on June 8, 2014 at 8:15 p.m.

Looks like El Fuerte,

*puts on sunglasses

got a win button.

YEEEAAAHHH!!!

#27
GooNitsu said on June 8, 2014 at 8:22 p.m.

For starters it shouldn't be "Fuerte isn't good, he deserves buffs" it should be "Fuerte isn't good, how do we balance things", so to give a good move just because he was without one before is a bit to simple minded in logic.
He does deserve a good buff, but a well balanced one. At the moment i agree its to early to complain on weather this move is overpowered. But no harm in saying it looks to be

#28
Rabunis said on June 8, 2014 at 8:46 p.m.

If you block qbomb you can punish it lolol

#29
Frosty4024 said on June 8, 2014 at 8:52 p.m.

For starters it would help if people didn't rush in and actually used caution against the move....Some of those "punishes" were because the opponent was doing bonehead things that were just BEGGING to get "Q'd"...

As for the whining about not being able to punish Q-Bomb....Well...I dunno about yall but Vega can punish it with ease.....Spam it against him at your own risk ;)

With what? They were trying to punish it. It seemed like he gets pushed far back enough that its safe.

#32
UltimoGringo said on June 8, 2014 at 9:06 p.m.

Hold two kicks for 4ish seconds.
Dang you blocked that? Shoot. I wont have another reversal for another 4ish seconds.

#33
UltimoGringo said on June 8, 2014 at 9:08 p.m.

It's not. Tested it the other day and every character can punish with something... just like they always could.

#34
triplethreat99 said on June 8, 2014 at 9:24 p.m.

A guy spammed the q bomb against my Hugo today, and I was unable to punish it. Maybe there is a way, but I couldn't figure it out.

#35
Hound said on June 8, 2014 at 9:24 p.m.

The move is fine, It does too much damage though. 250 damage and on ch can get a wall bounce into another special. Can do up to 400 damage with counter hit QBomb.

Lol Blame Dawgtanian on this godlike Buff

Seriously though, too much damage

#36
fgcismyboo said on June 8, 2014 at 9:36 p.m.

Learn the matchup. El Fuerte is random idiocy, but you can do things to make him predictable, and shutdown his bs. You can't sit and expect to get your charge like every other matchup because Fuerte is too twitchy and random, so you have to move around and be twitchy too. It's like Bruce Lee vs Chuck Norris in Return of the dragon. Gotta move.

#37
JoeLewis said on June 8, 2014 at 9:44 p.m.

The game is still new.

However, Manny and Spab played a good tournament today, the deserve the wins.

It's unfortunate it takes good Elfs to win to show that people really did not do their homework for 5+ years.

#38
mortalmonkie said on June 8, 2014 at 10:16 p.m.

Not only can you OS it but for 4 seconds or around there he has two kicks which he can't use but yea its "too good"...Like if he's the only one with a ex move you can't punish on block which his you actually can...makes sense

#39
SnakeX said on June 8, 2014 at 10:19 p.m.

Seriously guys, learn the match-up. Learn the proper punishes. Don't immediately go for demands of nerfs and assume there's nothing you can do, that's embarrassing.

El Fuerte players are going wild with Quesadilla Bomb because no one's bothered to think about the El Fuerte match-ups before and the buffs the move got has them scared.

#40
Nevran said on June 8, 2014 at 11:21 p.m.

Yeah, because we all know that El Fuerte also has god like footsie and poke, and that he isn't affected by Red focus or delayed wake-up :)

Stay free.

#42
Darc_Requiem said on June 9, 2014 at 12:13 a.m.

Great post. No one really uses El Fuerte. There isn't a lot of match up familiarity with him. I think I may have seen 20 Fuertes online and I've been playing SFIV since "Vanilla"

#43
gintoki said on June 9, 2014 at 12:27 a.m.

God damn 20 I only ran into like 6 and I have also been playing since vanilla. The thing is only 1 fuerte out of the 6 could do RSF lol

as an online player i'm not scared or angry about el fuerte, as a stream monster i see players who have used him for ages utilize better tools they were given.

will there be a fuerte army from these buffs? i doubt it.

#49
Its_Johnny_baby said on June 9, 2014 at 6:35 a.m.

People talking like Fuerte is the only one to have an "unpunishable" move...there are a lot of moves that can't be punished that don't even require charge like Q'bomb,Yun ex lunge punch for example, but hey, kids don't want to learn the matchup they want capcom to do the job for them,FGC these days...I even bet people went to complain to the forums first before even getting to the lab with Fuerte for like 10 mins to figure things out, real sad.

I_Are_RaBBiT said on June 9, 2014 at 7 a.m.

2 Fuertes in top 5????? How the heck did THAT happen? Wow. I need to go watch the archives!

#51
RedCycloneKen said on June 9, 2014 at 7:01 a.m.

El irritates people because he is a scumbag character. It's the designer's fault, not the player's, that to win with him you have to run away for 30 secs, go random and do a move that can only be blocked by guessing right, score the knockdown and do the vortex. The skills required to play him are so different to the ordinary footsie and zoning game of SF.

I personally hate to fight him, even though I win most of the time

#52
kaeshi said on June 9, 2014 at 1:54 p.m.

I just think he looks and sounds stupid and does not belong in street fighter.

I'm glad that someone made that video. No character should have a dumb move with no risk and all reward. AE sakuras EX tatsu and AE dp's FADCs were so lame
