*Looks at game list* Weeeeell..can't say it's not a unique list of fighters there. I dunno how interested I am but at least it's something fresh.

Catalyst Image 2 is pixelated badly. I can't read the text at all. You might want to upload it again :/

kuroi_aima said on February 28, 2014 at 7:17 a.m.

i guess eventhubs hates jojo, i don't understand why, you list all those games, EVEN NARUTO, and miss JoJo ASB being played at IVGC?

so bad

#11
Catalyst said on February 28, 2014 at 8:06 a.m.

Done. Thanks for the note.

#12
Catalyst said on February 28, 2014 at 8:07 a.m.

It's because we hate JoJo, clearly. Has nothing to do with the 5,000 titles being played at IVGC, and that listing them all would be a bit ridiculous, especially since they all in the schedule.

The obvious explanation is we hate JoJos!

#13
kuroi_aima said on February 28, 2014 at 8:19 a.m.

i sent like 5 or more emails about new infos on the western release of JoJo ASB and not even one has been posted, i remember just one post months ago when the western version was just confirmed.

and IVGC'14 has 6 MAIN events, which are AE, KOF, MVC, SC, Naruto and JOJO. now go read your news again.

you should list especially the MAIN ones, THEN some nice side event worth the mention.

out of 15 (fifteen) games you just missed one of the MAIN ones, the coincidences.

#14
ltalia90 said on February 28, 2014 at 8:41 a.m.

He's got you there, Catalyst, or should I say PREJUDYST. Coincidences too stronk, obvious racism and general anti-JoJo propoganda. #downwiththeman.

(as if they haven't got better things to do lmao.

Power Rangers top 8 is going to be hype.)

Geez, who's this French player: Valmaster, who used Chun Li to run a train through Dieminion and 5 other players? He also beat Xian 5-3 in an exhibition, where'd this guy come from?

#22
yes4me said on February 28, 2014 at 11:44 a.m.

ken bogard is awesome!

#23
Eden said on February 28, 2014 at 11:53 a.m.

Valmaster is a "casual" xTekken player who decided to get serious in SF IV, and he doesn't stop getting better month after month. I don't think he's already at the same level than top French players like Alioune, Luffy or Gagapa, but if he defeated Xian, he might be close now.

#24
NYCraziSalvi516 said on February 28, 2014 at 12:31 p.m.

Valmaster has been playing before sfxt.

Woah even Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst is there too? I wonder how competitive Storm 3 is like?

#26
Nevran said on March 1, 2014 at 2:01 a.m.

No.

Like, if you don't know who Valmaster is, just don't try to make people think that you do.

#27
Crang said on March 1, 2014 at 2:59 a.m.

Why, in FGC, is there allways a guy, like you, that's can't be just nice, no aggressive, or instructive ?

You said he's wrong, why not, but tell us why, or put your Phoenix Wright finger's in your a$$ and go away.

Now, some real news : all he said is true. Valmaster is a french player, from Paris. There we have a tournament called "Arcade Street Battle" that he won 4 times in a Row. Ken Bogard mention him a lot as a COD player, but i can't say if this is true.

To finish, and about the gentle man's comment post 2, If Ken Bogard annoyed you, just shut the sound :/. Or maybe you can speak in a different way that would be evolutive : When Ken shows us some japanese or english stream, he cut the sound. One's he "streamed the stream" to be able to comment. He asked organisator to be able to have his own stream for togeki (that did'nt happe), where are your commentators, sooooo much investigate in the FGC ?

Don't complain on everything, we could talk, be nice, and constructive

#28
Eden said on March 1, 2014 at 3:38 a.m.

I don't know Valmaster's background, but I know he was doing good at SFxT, and that he's really becoming one of the best French players at SF IV. I remember him winning a tournament called "Republic of Fighters" against Luffy in finals, a few months ago. I also found this :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVSG9d...

It's only one set, but it seems fresh, and knowing how Alioune is performing at the ESGN League, it's interesting.

Ken Bogard is awesome, he uses Tizoc in Garou Mark of the Wolves. Anyone who is brave/stupid enough to use Tizoc competitively has my respect :).

#52
Feistypopo said on March 2, 2014 at 3:02 p.m.

There's some truth to this but footsies and zoning is obviously another big factor which helps neutralize the randomness. Marvel is way more random but you see Chris G consistently dominating because he's taken on a zoning oriented game. That's why Eita started playing Ryu because he wanted to work on his fundamentals.

Once Ultra comes along and delayed wake up starts changing up the vortex game, this game will be a lot more skill based. (Especially if the -5 FADC change remains.)
