Imo you have no right to talk shut about tournaments unless you go to them yourself, which I'm sure 90% of this website doesn't. Bunch of entitled scrubs. I really hate what the "FGC" is becoming, less people showing up to gatherings and more people whining on sites like these.

Actually more people are showing up to gatherings, if you are comparing it now to the era you are comparing it to.

Also how does not going to tournaments make you a scrub, does going to a tournament and going 0-2 like you make you not a scrub?

I would think if this is the most important tournament in Virginia it should be considered at least Virginia's Major.

lol damn son why you mad. DUDs vs vega is a hard matchup and lets not forget Zeus is one of the best in america, but how dare he not get to grand finals.

Smug has been consistently losing to Zeus' Vega and Ricky is Ricky so it's not really a surprise for him to not win. He's still one of the most talented players out there and he's only going to get better, especially with ultra.

I didn't say Zues and Ricky weren't good. Just that there were far fewer top players at this tournament than the average major. There's a difference between saying someone is bad versus saying they're overrated.

How dare he not get to grand finals in any street fighter major he's ever entered...EVER. With as much hype as Smug gets you'd think he'd at least have gotten to a single sf4 grand finals at a major in his life.

A major? I was being generous calling Civil War 6 a major. Smug would be lucky to make top 8 at a normal major with more top players. If I were hyped as much as Smug is and lacked major wins I'd criticize me too.

I can't believe Vega actually made to Grand Finals. Zeus is def my hero.

1) East Coast is still kinda free in SF.
2) Zeus is the most consistent and talented player in the EC, specially for someone who mains Claw.
3) Smug has sweet combos, but his level of play is definetly a cut below every single top player in the USA, let alone international competition.

For someone who uses a xbox360 gamepad, Smugs execution is brilliant. I'm wondering what his button mapping is since he rarly drops a combo?

3 is an extremely ignorant statement and the definition of scrub vision. His footsies, finding ways to get in and general understanding of the game is a cut above 9/10 of players, that's why he succeeds with a character that no one really has.
