Latest video from Desk punches it to the beat - smooth blend of combos and music in rhythm with eachother Our good old friend Desk has uploaded a new video, which is a bit different from his usual showings.

Rather than be a straight up combo video, this video aims at blending music together with fighting game moves and lines, and does a pretty solid job of it as well.

Hit the jump to check out Desk's latest offering, and let us know in the comments if you'd like to see more stuff like this in the future.

Thanks to cailooooo for sending this in.

Nah, kinda letdown compare to his usual stuff (and i'm taking not only about strict-timing combos).

One of the most impressive efforts I have ever seen on his part.

The part where Ken parries Chun Li's attacks and then countered her was very nice to see and hear.
The same is true for Balrok vs. Dudley.

Good job desk.
... as always ;)

That was pretty cool. I really like the concept. There were a couple points in the Combovid sh/f Fireball Battle where they synced up the gameplay and music in a similar way. http://combovid.com/?p=24

The rythmic combo concept is something I use a lot when trying to keep timing down in combos. It works pretty well for me, particularly for El Fuerte's RSF.

Did Capcom hire this guy yet? Cause if not, they loafting on the potential marketing and promotional potential from this guy who is just playing around with their titles like he basically created these games himself. Combofiend.....how bout showing the big boys a Youtube link or two...wouldn't hurt. Im pretty sure he could help you out with some balance issues on your current project. (We all know what title)

Nice video. There's a lot of good timing. The ryu vs zangief part is pretty awesome.

Now, whenever any of us play Third Strike, if we think of this song we can all now parry Chun-Li's 2nd Ultra.

For a sec I thought it said "Last video from Desk" and I almost freaked out, hahah.

Good stuff as always, Desk.

Concept was kinda cool, but the combos and everything else turned out to be kinda weak. If you look past how difficult this was to make, you'll see it's not really offering much.

Desk is a very elusive guy. He won't even show us his face. At one point he said he was going to go to Evo but he didn't show up.

Welp I think Desk finally lost it.

Incredibly boring for a DESK combo video. Only about 3 combos that were enjoyable IMO. I am disappoint.
