Why are there still unmuted, autoplaying video ads? This sh*t is getting annoying. I came back to this site because I thought they were gone.

It's still amazing to me to see how Smash has been accepted into the FGC since EVO.

They should be gone, unmuted auto-playing ads should never happen. Can you please PM me with more details, like what the ad was about and more?

No problem, thanks for letting us know there was an issue. We always want to know about problematic ads.

No US players besides Snakeeyes for AE?

rakuko said on October 7, 2013 at 6:04 p.m.

i swear, SS keeps raising the bar on promotion trailers and images.

#15
rakuko said on October 7, 2013 at 6:05 p.m.

it's a bit hard to tell, since even SnakeEyes isn't on the registered players list on SS's website atm (unless he's going by a different name entirely).

On the night he qualified, SnakeEyez sat down with James Chen on the commentary table and if I recall correctly, he did say that he had the passport to go.

The line up for this year's Shadowloo Showdown is a little bit disappointing compared to previous years (mainly because the line up in 2011 (!)/2012 was just insane)...but it's still one of best tournaments out there. Really looking forward to it!

@1
If you use Chrome (or add flashblock) all flash is click-to-play. I find it makes an excellent middle ground for sites I put on my Adblock whitelist.

Good text or picture based ads can stay, annoying flash ads get blocked.

Where are the Japanese guys? Where the hell is Daigo? Where's Justin Wong?
