Patch in the works for Darkstalkers Resurrestion, Marvel vs. Capcom Origins and Street Fighter 3 Third Strike Online Edition

Patch in the works for Darkstalkers Resurrestion, Marvel vs. Capcom Origins and Street Fighter 3 Third Strike Online Edition Over on the Ask Capcom forums, Combofiend has been replying to various threads asking for information on updates, patches, DLC and bug fixes to Darkstalkers Resurrection, Marvel vs. Capcom Origins and Street Fighter 3 Third Strike Online Edition.

Up first is the Darkstalkers Ressurection's music and possible DLC.

Can you please release a patch for Darkstalkers Resurrection to fix the next stage music that is incorrect in Vampire Savior that was from Nightwarriors: Darkstalkers Revenge to have the next stage music correct in Vampire Savior and the bugs and everything need to be fixed in Darkstalkers Resurrection? Are there plans to release DLC for Darkstalkers Resurrection such as Vampire Savior arranged with the characters of Pyron, Dee, Donovan, Marionette, Huitzil, more colors, music? Thank you.

Combofiend: Thanks for advising us about the issues. There's a patch coming out pretty soon that should hopefully clear most of these things up.

As for DLC regarding characters, music and stages...I can't say I've heard anything about that.

After the jump, you can see the posts about the music and future patches for both Street Fighter 3 Third Strike Online Edition and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Origins.

When are they going to release a big patch for Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition? I want the original arcade soundtrack, stages and endings from Street Fighter III: Second Impact, Twelve's voice fixed, original character select screen, original character portraits, original hud and original level bars for Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition? Are there plans to release more DLC for Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition?

Combofiend: I know there is a patch on the way (been put on the backburner due to all the work on DS:R), but I don't think it'll contain any of the things you want though. I'm not aware of any DLC plans for 3s either.

Any word on Marvel vs. Capcom Origins Patch for sound and music fixes? Jin's voice samples on player 2 side are incorrect and wrong in Marvel vs. Capcom for Marvel vs. Capcom Origins and there is no voice in the opening movie of Marvel vs. Capcom in Marvel vs. Capcom Origins. The stage music loops back and fourth in Dr. Doom Stage music for Marvel Super Heroes in Marvel vs. Capcom Origins and when will the patch be released for Marvel vs. Capcom Origins?

Combofiend: There is a patch in the works, unfortunately it's been a tad delayed due to DSR. It's on the way though. Thanks for waiting so far.

I guess the games are well and good if patches for things like this are being requested.

I really hope they finally allow Turbo 2 for MvC1. Of all things someone would ask for that game it should be that. Of course the glitch fixes are necessary but T2 would be nice.

It'll be cool if they balance the characters third strike and even fast in the future I'm pretty sure a lot of the ogs prefer the originals

If it were up to me, i'd patch out that BS intro/character select music from
3S, and put Infinite back in there. The hell were they thinkin' with that gay
A$$ music?

With the constant delays to SF3:OE, they might as well name it "SF3:OE 2014 Edition" by the time they release it.

I think one of the new stuff for 3OE will be the ping numbers like in MVCO instead of the red, orange, yellow and green I remember reading that somewhere

Maybe Capcom US should start an indiegogo to fund all these DLC request if they can't get funding from Japan.

The next stage music is wrong in Night Warriors? Seemed correct to me unless the song I "believe" they referring to is incorrect.

I like how if a normal user reports bugs, capcom doesn't respond and never fixes it but if a tournament guy finds one and reports it, they hurry and jump to fix it. Screw you capcom.

@16 i can see how a tournament winning player's comments or complaints might hold more weight than the average online warrior. they have a stronger influence on the community so it would serve the company well if they could avoid vanilla SFxT rage towards a product. and capcom does alot for the community like the games themselves.

I love how people think you can just "add" new characters to a port.

@21 Because of Marvel licensing. If they don't still have a contract in place, they can't alter the game in any way.

The biggest two issues I can think of with SF3OE is with the characters' voices being much louder than the music and hit sounds, and the fact that the music f***ing RESETS between rounds. Why the hell was that put in?

@26
Does it? IIRC it starts like a second half of the track for the stage.
I don't really have intimate knowledge of the soundtrack though and the fact that they're remixes doesn't help me.

@27 The music restarting after a round is finished happens at least with the nondefault music (2nd Impact, original console TS, etc.). I don't recall what it was like with the remixed (default) music, since those songs are garbage and I don't want to listen to those.

Also, they took out Q's parenthetical win quotes for some reason.
