Not to sound salty but I like that in UMvC3, the team with nothing but consensus top tier characters came in 4th and the first place team has a lot of "low tier" characters. There should be a Broken Tier shirt that says "Low tier characters" but then it's crossed out and the word players is scribbled underneath it.
I don't know whats going on but the very first "tournament match" of SSFIV: AE (Levis VS Jeff Katz) was the scrubbiest play I've seen in quite some time. I think mainly because levis had some HORRIBLE input problems...he didn't finish 1 combo like he had in mind. he ALWAYS got the wrong dash punches because he couldn't get his input right...
man this is a prime example of a guy who totally loses it because of the pressure of a tournament.
hey jimmy - sorry about the horrible play all day yesterday. that was one of my first tournaments i've participated in @superdojo. i am by no means a top player yet, and i am trying to take my first steps towards getting there. and i have to admit, the stream did make me pretty jittery in the beginning.
that first match was also exceptionally bad because i didn't really warm up like i should have done beforehand. i give mad props to Kane, as he was pretty much a one man army and carried me all the way there.
point is; i want to start leveling up, and this is how we all have to start.
