The blue stuff might be a representation of a block spark, but I'm not sure why it has to be liquid.

the blue splash is the focus splash from gouken's parry, meaning this is a statue of akuma about to get rocked lol

Anyway. I would carefully cut that water balloon burst into the ACTUAL effect of the parry if I though that spending $330 for this crap was a good idea.

One of the best I've seen, and arguably the best Akuma/Gouken statue out there. BUT, way too expensive. If I had that kind of money to just throw it away, I'd buy this in a heart beat, but unfortunately thats not the case. :(

It looks awesome, but the price is a joke and so is the 3 payments needed for an order....they give us no cost for p&p yet, and me being from europe will make this totalling over $400 for any version of the statue lol hope it sells poorly and so they realise how dumb they're charging for this

If you guys don't like the splash, that I can understand. However, the splash was what Capcom approved. They are big into water effects since SFxT. But everyone is entitled to their opinion.

But....

Anyone who knows anything about statue collecting realizes that the price point is extremely competitive. In fact it's a great price for a piece like this.

Unless you are a die hard SF fan, I highly doubt that anyone would spend that much money for a statue. I mean really, you would be better off donating to Skullgirls or something.

And better to give your money to medical research or charity than SkullGirls.

Gouken is spot on and I'm fine with the splash, whatever. Akumas face and hair are horrible IMO. Not a reason to not buy I guess you could commission a new head. That nose huge!

I think it's pretty damn cool, although the water mess does look odd. As far as the price, it's pretty detailed and is limited.

Great sculptures, but either way too late to fix a sculpture, but maybe sharper edges for parrry would have worked better to show impact instead of water, not too bad on that part though and great sculptures.

hmmm 330$ is expensive but not too expensive. ive been collecting figures and statues for awhile now and i can tell you that this is reasonable compare to others like the Felicia, morigan, and the Rachel/mokota(blazblue) PVC statues that go for 400-900$.

The price is actually lower than what I would expect. Is it worth it? Well that depends on whether you like it and whether you can afford it. I can guarantee that if Bill Gates, for example, is a Gouken fan/statue collector, this price won't be an issue, but don't buy it if you are worried about making the rent this month.

Akuma is down right awful, one of the worst I've seen. It should come spring loaded so you can see the after effect of the parry.

I don't like the detail on if for a 300$ figure, overall the painting and detail is pretty poor.

Megahouse should do some Street Fighter Figures.

What most of you don't seem to realize is that why Gouken's parry is a splash is because ever since SF4 was announced, the design of the game is based around ink.

@29 you're seeing a prototype/artist proof, these tend to look better in person. You gotta understand that capcom has the final say on these and they make some pretty bad decisions. Check out the pcs chun li that piece was gorgeous and capcom made pcs repaint the face and it destroyed it. Jerry being the awesome guy he is, took it upon himself to repaint the chun Li face for free! For free!

Megahouse does some really neat stuff too and pcs is moving to vinyl/resins to capture the detail better like megahouse uses.

You guys think this is expensive but it's pretty bare bones actually. I'm a sculptor and let me tell you the cost of casting these things is huge. Add the cost of licensing, production/employees, paint and boxing and he's left with a very small profit margin. Like maybe 15-20%.

Pcs is fan based and the only company to promise 100% satisfaction. If you wanted to commission a one off your looking at $1500.00 usd and up. So it's actually a great price point.

I dont really care how ugly Akuma face is in this, because the guy is ugly
he's shaping to look more like a demon then a regular man so i would think he would look like that.

Gouken is looking flawless ...i'll get it because im a fan of the Master
it's basically two Statues connected more for your buck.

the splash i would look as problematic except the SF4 Been using splash and water inks since the opening trailer of the game so i don't see the big deal look at the Intro of the game.
