Additionally, after the jump Max has done another episode of his Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3: The Online Warrior series where he discusses the harsh reality of tiers in the game.
Monopr and OmgItzMarc have both posted clips of some TAC infinite variations for Iron Man and Morrigan.
Tortonon is back again with another short touch of death combo video featuring Magneto, Dr. Doom and Dr. Strange.

Max is right. At the end of the day, these people are playing for money, and they've got to do whatever it takes to win. As much as we hate it, we're eventually going to see Morridoom/Magneto/Vergil/Zero/Nova/Spencer/Wolverine in 90% of matches.
@9: That is true to an extent. A mediocre Viper (Me) will lose to a seasoned player in her favorable matchups, but the best Viper will still struggle against an average Magneto playing decent keep away(Sans Vajra/Jam Session of course).
Here are some Magneto X Factor glitches that didn't get posted: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmSp9j...

i agree, but eventhubs hasn't featured any of max's videos for a while.
I disagree with alot what max says and some of you event scrubs... You can have a good character and still lose a favoritable match up to a lower tier character. . Its more of the player than the character... Yall look at morrigan or rather chris gs morrigan like she is top tier and fact is she wasnt at the beginning of umvc3.. Morrigan was considered trash by many players.. Umvc3 isnt a single character game its a team game and optimization matters the most... If anything there are only 3 end game teams so far which are morridoom, team nemo, and zero may cry... Runner up would be dante, vergil, and strider.. Other than that umvc3 still has room to grow
i agree with what #16 avemcree says, to add High-level skill has the ability to make up for the major flaws of a low-tier character.(quote from Zalozis/YouTube)it doesn't mean your not gonna win tournaments or what not it means its going to be a lot harder, their has also been some instances that people lose a favorable match-up against a low tier character, its all on the player at the end of the day. therefore i disagree with max on that one
@16 It's more player than character at a lower level of play, in high level play it's about the characters more, because everyone at that level is pretty much at the same skill. In high level play it comes down to luck, who has the cheapest/most broken stuff, and which top tiers you're using.
@16
We all know it's more player than character, you've said nothing new under the sun- I could tierwhore a Chun on 3S and J.Wong'd destroy me with Q.
To your point about Morrigan being originally considered trash, in a way like vergil too on Ultimate, yeah that's true. But it takes a lot of work for people to truly appreciate the characters. Ultimate Morrigan with Doom Missiles is a scary combination and just because it was once considered bad doesn't mean anything at all. Vergil was considered bad at first because people didn't know how to make his normals have any form of safety- look at him now. He's the new Wesker, but with real mixups. 'Fact is she wasn't at the beginning' is irrelevant.
And where has Wesker gone exactly? Oh yeah, people downloaded him.
