Blanka's block stun infinite off a normal front throw, Jibbo online ranked matches, Capcom's Online Rewind - Street Fighter X Tekken v2013

Jibbo is back once again with some new Street Fighter X Tekken v2013 technology. Up first is a quick video on Blanka where he covers his various safe attacks and high damage combos. Additionally, he sets up the Blanka block stun infinite off a front throw. In the comments of the video he noted there were quite a few ways to get out of it though.

In this situation you could launch, roll, reversal or backdash it.

After the jump, there is a few other videos including a Hugo technology video discussing frames, and various ranked games with this team of Blanka and Hugo. Additionally Capcom's Dawgtanian has released the first episode of his Online Rewind show.

Can't you just alpha counter out of the blanka infinite?

Alpha counter is the only option during the "infinite", but killing a person with the infinite does not even build a full meter for the opponent, so there will be situations where death is inevitable as long as the Blanka player keeps the infinite going.

Jibbo shows that people run their mouths too early in the game before finding tech first.

But I understand you. I've sent the latest Jojo video with the information regarding the special edition with prices and stuff. They posted only the video, and days later, the info for the special edition (without prices), and no credit.

Goes to show u vanilla Hugo plays that dropped him cuz u can't spam no more shows that he's still a pretty good player in the game if u use him right

@Guile4Life damn straight. I happily use him paired with either Lars or Vega and still get on fine with him. The only thing that happened for me is that I feel less of a cheap ass for using him. I just like the character :L

lol @ people pretending this will change bottom tier characters. When people explore the easy mode characters, it will prove more how much Hugo is lacking in everything.

- Rubbish anti-airs without meter, even then still gets stuffed out, whilst the other characters get easy invincible normal attack anti-airs - check
- One of the worst movement in the game - check
- Worst command grab in both speed and ranges - check
- Has to sit there during pressure - check
- Worst chain combos in the game - check
- Cannot put rollers in a cross-up like 95% of the cast due to the splash only being activated on a forward jump - check
- So much more awful about him - check

Apart from the best health and good damage, which let's be honest is nothing special when most characters can match it such as Heihachi (which all he has to do is pressure you with herpaderp high low mix-up), He is basically Hakan of SFxT. Nothing changing a bad character is a bad character.

you can kill off the infinite or win by timeout if they dont know how to alpha counter

The problem is people are stupid. They say "you can just alpha counter" but they don't really think about it. If you have to spend all your meter to alpha counter Blanka then you've already lost the match. You're building and keeping your meter only to survive this threat, you're handicapping yourself a lot. So even if the infinite itself doesn't kill you, you are still losing the meter race and have less damage output, options and comeback potential.
