Updated: IFC Yipes leaves Broken Tier, joins Empire Arcadia

Updated: During the Next Level Battle Circuit stream by Team Spooky, IFC Yipes announced that he has once again joined Empire Arcadia.

Koogy from Broken Tier announced on Twitter, that IFC Yipes will be leaving his sponsorship group. Here is what Koogy and Yipes both had to say.

Koogy: We've had an awesome run together, but we're sad to announce that IFC Yipes will be leaving Team BT effective today. We'll still be ..working together to bring you amazing clothing and events, so fear not! I'm proud of Yipes.

Yipes: It was an honor to represent your team homie =) I'm still running with the brand though so I'm not leaving at all =)

Yipes is the second member to leave BrokenTier in the past two weeks, as Dieminion left to join Empire Arcadia.

All this Empire "resurgence" is VXG paying for the transportation of EMP players to St. Maarten and the big East Coast tourneys until then and also Evo. There's no hype about this tournament and Triforce scamme... talked VXG into thinking that Empire is somehow a great promotion vehicle for them in the States.

EMP will revert back to Triforce bagging groceries for rent money once VXG 2013 happens and VXG realizes their association with EMP isn't bringing in any money for them.

The only question is how long will Dieminion / Yipes stay with EMP after VXG. The over/under line imo is three months.

#76 Yipes won EVO for MvC2 as well as Season's Beatings not to mention majors for UMvC3. Dieminion also has majors under his belt in SF, recently Marvel, and recently SFxT also getting top 8 at evo is no easy feat whatsoever that alone is like winning a tournament.
