Black Adam and Shazam's alternate costume seen in the Lex Luthor story mode trailer for Injustice: Gods Among Us

Sfilp, Hawkgirl is actually in her alt. they're in their alts in the story mode because this is after Superman's regime had already been established. The black cloak fighting Lex is Shazam.

It is Shazam's alternate, it's seen in the Aquaman trailer.

Lol, Luthor is in his alt in that picture too. Normally his suit is green, not purple. It's Shazam.

SMH. The unknown character IS Shazam and That IS his alternate costume. You want proof, look at the Aquaman story mode trailer.

Its Black Adam? no doubt? people insist in no no no, would be a no sense trailer,Shazam appears fighting with two costumes? only Shazam show two costumes and other chars only one?

I like how their making Black Adam look more egyptian like hes suppose too, but why did they make him bald? Give him his hair and his pointy ears.

Plus I dont get the random dagger attached to his chest, and in the trailer why does his cape and sash look like there combined.

At first I didn't like how Black Adam looks in those screenshots but now I like it a lot. Egyptian men of high stature were bald and besides not having pointy ears his head/face look cool.

Plus this new outfit (sash/cape looks sweet) has a lot more detail than his regular outfit and is more based upon his New 52 outfit (boots & cape).

I'm guessing they will release a reveal trailer for Black Adam on Friday.

As for costumes in this game I'm guessing every character will have:
1. Injustice main
2. Injustice post-regime
3. Classic
4. New 52

And some characters will have extra ones like GA's show alt, Blackest Night, Red Son, etc. etc. Every costume will probably have a variant too like in MK9. So 8 costumes for each characters excluding bonus costumes.

Perhaps the dagger is the "Dagger of Teth (Black) Adam" which Lois Lane had in her possession while being controlled by Isis in an episode from Smallville?

I googled 'Black Adam dagger' and thats all I can find.

@17 Ya I was guessing the baldness had to do with the Egyptian statis , and what I meant by the dagger is why is in such a weird spot, like it should be on the side of his belt. Overall, I like the costume except the cape fusing with the sash looks really awkward, but I do hope this is an alt and he has a costume were he has no cape which i really liked about black adam, and hast his classic head.

His costume looks great just needs fixing on his face and I'm ok with him

Finally Black Adam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course this ain't no official reveal but hey, I wanna get hyped anyways. Hopefully he's not a "story mode only" character.

I doubt he'll be anything less than a playable character. In the video he is flying around with Hawkgirl and c'mon.. If Hawkgirl is playable then Black Adam BETTER BE playable. I don't see the reasoning and effort in redesigning his appearance if he wasn't playable.

Of course Black Adam will be playable, i've told you people a month ago but NOOOOOO ...

Shazam's costume it's not new, you can see it in the Aquaman Trailer when he goes with Flash to Aquaman, and Aquaman is standing close to Batman. You can also see in that scene the alternate for Flash and it looks cool.

PS: you will see next Gorrila Grodd, a week or two at maximum ...

If that guy is Black Adam, im gonna be super disappointed with NRS, cuz if Martian Manhunter doesnt have a spot on the main rooster, and its moved to DLC (like they said), why on earth Black Adam got? Besides... we already got the thunder guy, "Shazam", whats the point of getting 2 chars of the same type, with a bunch of unique chars left? Hal and Sinestro its different, cuz the Green Lanterns u can create everything u want with the ring, and make him unique, like they already are. But for Shazam and Black Adam.... they both fly and shoot lightning bolts, what can they possibly do more?

#25 thats what i said earlier in another topic! people are so stupid we want Black Adam, because he's like youk now...BLACK ADAM man!...jeez! ...i'm not hating Black Adam in particular, i'm simply hating the fact that two characters, that don't even look so different apart from each other and share almost identical move sets are getting BOTH in the roster in the initial day of release!...unless this is really NOT Black Adam (i'm still not convinced its Black Adam...)...

Black Adam and Shazam are not the same, if you looked closely Green Lantern and Sinestro play different, different moves and different looks, wich I like a lot !!!

I would really, really like to see Black Adam in this game. So far, we've seen nothing in game that conclusively suggests he is a playable character nor have we seen anything that suggests that he's an npc exclusively.

For all we know he could just be an npc in cutscenes.

...in that case i will use my right to voice my opinion that Robin and Nightwing aren't the same and play different! i want both Robin and Nightwing in this game, but would you want the same?...thats the difference...i know a lot of people want Black Adam in this game, but i'm just saying that a lot of people wouldn't be against it if he'd be DLC and instead Netherrealm would put J'onn J'onzz as playable character from the day one instead!...

...all i want is more female characters in this game thats all i'm asking!...and i would hate it if yet another "sausage" would take over the spot of some sexy looking and agile skilled chick, like Black Canary, The Huntress or Vixen for example!...if someone would ask me, whom do i want to see more Black Adam or Black Canary i wouldn't hesitate a second and say - Black Canary!...

@33 There could be more female characters indeed, i think there will be 4 maximum 5 females more with all the ones that will be included in the DLC.
Can't wait to see Grodd's gameplay, maybe one week or two and we'll see him

PS: I'm not pleased with how Doomsday looks, maybe his gameplay will compensate. You can see him in that Superman vs Sinestro fight from what I remember

First, like I said, I love Black Adam, and I've been waiting for his reveal since day one. But, hopefully this is an alternate costume cause it's plain awful. I'd love to see him in his New 52 (Justice league 10) costume (the one on my avatar).

Second, stop bitching about two characters being similar, obviously they're not gonna make them the same (Shazam and Black Adam). Stop acting like you know how to create a character and know by fact that they will move the same. Besides, before crying about something you clearly don't know jack, keep in mind that theres several characters who's moves are almost identical in Street Fighter (Ryu/Evil Ryu, Ken, Akuma/Oni, Dan, Sean, Sagat, Sakura, etc.), and none of you said jack about it. So please cut the nonsense and wait for the actual gameplay to complaint, and even then, like stated above, remember SF.
