In my eyes they seem like great characters and i cant wait to play as them, even though that theyre both 5 bucks ill still be happy i paid for it.

Awesome! Zeus was one of my most wanted characters. It's a shame that I don't play this game anymore. Maybe I'll eventually come back to it after this DLC releases.

They do look like a preorder bonus: preorder this game and you get X character for free. Probably this is the future for this game, to serve as promo for X playstation game.

Recap about the Third Party characters (before anyone goes on saying that this character started off in a 360 game, or make a comment about a pointless character from Sony's enemy companies)

Big Daddy: The reason that Big Daddy made his appearence in Playstation Allstars is that there is a strong relationship between the Bioshock team & Sony. Relationship is the strong key for gaming development & marketing.

Heihachi Mishima: Reason is that the Tekken series was mostly for Playstation exlcusive to the home marketing from the first game to Tekken 5 DR.

Dante: Another reason is that the Devil May Cry series were PS2 exclusive (except DMC3 PS2/Windows and DMC4, DMC Collections, & DmC reboot for PS3/360/Windows).

Raiden: Reason is that the Metal Gear (series) is that most of the games were involved with Playstation games (except the first & second games), with Metal Gear Solid PS1 making big sales like other games. Raiden appears to relate with Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

Issac: Reason is that Issac made appearence in a Playstation commerical "Long Live Play: Sony Character Commerical" also known as "Michael" Trailer.

Even if Bioshock or Dead Space first games were first released for Microsoft products, their first games ended up for PS3.

When comes to getting a character in a crossover game, it always have to be about the relationship, history, and contracts.

Like Square Enix, Final Fantasy characters were approve by the company itself to use the FF characters to appear in the Michael commerical. Like Lighting (FFXIII), and Cloud (FFVII) was suppose to be in the commerical but didn't make because there wasn't enough time to make Cloud's costume. But also Square Enix was hard to work with like Capcom, EA, & others (at least not impossible like Activision).

For Snake appear in Playstation Allstars, there was times where Kojima didn't want Solid or Old Snake to fight Raiden because Kojima consider them as teammates. Except Big Boss, however the relation with Kojima & Sony was damage due to Raiden getting leaked.

All that people need to understand is how business and company relationship works because thats the symbol of life, even getting a character is not about fun and games or some person wanting Crash Spyro or whoever. Sometimes people can't always get what they want including fans.

@15 You know the reason I put up early can also be the same along with the new games coming out, there are times that not even Sony can have every third party character including requested ones.

All I can say for Abe is that there multiple tries for Abe for him appearing in the game. Starting with he was suppose to be a character from start, the only for that to happen is if Superbot gets a respond from the CEO of Oddworld Inhabitants. CEO of Oddworld Inhabitants were working on it but progress was slow, which that Abe didn't make it as final character. Look at the recent news about Abe being cancelled as a DLC oddworlds-abe-dlc-playstation-all-stars-battle-royale-cancelled it was also during when Sony was cutting ties with Superbot. Heck there could more cancelled DLC characters, but problem we don't even know who was going to be in the game.

When comes to recent games look at MediEvil, Ape Escape, & Heavenly Sword they didn't have new games too, but still made their appearence.

Ok when comes to Zeus, honestly didn't expect to see a supporter character. Wouldn't Kratos be enough to relate with the new GoW game.

When comes to characters, who knows what were going to expect next also be awesome and even to see more supporter character from different series. Heck maybe if Playstation Allstars have a sequel will get to see characters that never got their chance like Abe, however this is something we shouldn't hope too much.

It would also be nice if there was a behind the scenes for Playstation Allstars, even mention of some scrap details and even in-depth details why a character like Big Daddy & Isaac appear in a Playstation crossover.

You would never tell this game is fun by these trailers. Theyre so "un-hype" and poorly done! Looks like ill be preordering GoW though if what im hearing abput free dlc is true

@22 Sometimes your real reason doesn't reflect the business in general. Some companies are not the same like Marvel vs Capcom 3 character choices of what you say, there are times that Marvel had control with their own characters and Capcom had control with their own characters. There are other reasons besides marketing, heck I can find certain details even look it up. You know there are certain people at a certain company that would just want to put their character in the game, heck look at Sony trying to get the rights for Crash which he doesn't have a new game Crash is a third party (no longer first party).

This link right here, has some very detail info. Its not much and who knows if the prediction reflects the next characters, Lets at least be happy that more characters are coming for DLC.

Disgaea D2 comes out this year, so holy crap maybe we'll see a Disgaea character in the game eventually!

But I dont know if a worldwide release is simultaneous with the Japanese release, so maybe it might not happen, or maybe it wont matter. Fingers crossed.
