Is the PC version going to have a higher price tag than console?

No, so expect the price to be $15 unless you already pre-ordered from the IGG campaign or separately

It won't be succesful. Not because PC community isn't interested in fighting games or "will" pirate it. I mean, just look at this game. The PC community isn't really interested (in general) in these anime-ish cartoon-ish "every move is a JPG picture even walking but that's 2 picture" games. They want MK or at least SF level. Without that... it will fail. And NOT because it gets pirated, it won't get pirated because most of the potential players (PC FGC members) won't bother even pirating it.

@9 that was dropped a long time ago.

steam isn't approved middleware for PS3 so only Valve can use it

Who doesn't know much about Steam?

#8 <--- This guy.

Seriously, there are people on Steam who will buy ANYTHING if it includes TF2 preorder items. There's also people who will buy anything that's cheap *period*. There's also people who will support fighting games on PC. There's also people who will gobble up anything that looks anime (bonus points for huge boobs and pantyshots).

I could go on. Add in the 40x revenue multiplier that happens on Steam sales and yeah, I think they'll do just fine.

Day 1 buy for me no matter what.

#8 Lots of people will get it just because it's cheap, pricing is one of Steam's biggest draws in the first place. Besides, many people technically already bought it through the IGG campaign.

@8 I think you underestimate the PC community (Specifically Steam gamers) in general. Have you seen the content that comes out on Steam? Most of them look like they come straight from Japan, some do and they are some of the best selling games on there. Did you know RPGMaker VX is a top seller, its on sale on Steam now.

If anything the PC gamers will embrace Skull Girls better than console gamers because most PC gamers are not graphic whores like the console gamers. There is a much bigger casual market on PC than on consoles. Skull Girls has a style and look that is attractive and addicting. Im sure Steam will welcome Skull Girls with open arms.
