Desk returns yet again with the first recorded 100 hit combo in Street Fighter X Tekken v2013. Using Chun-Li, Dudley, Pandora mode and various tags, Desk was able to pull off this Godlike combo.

@3

That's built into the system. The next hit after 99 auto drops the combo. Desk explained in an older video.

Gaylord doesn't know what "optimal combo" means. XD

Anywho, glad to see Desk breaking the game. His vids are always pretty cool for community morale. As an added bonus, we don't have to worry about this being effective anytime soon.

Charge buffering down. Stand mp. Cancel stand mp with Up SBK.

Input leniency allows the charge to be maintained.

I really wish Desk would try competing, if not in tournys then at least online.

I can't imagine entering the competitive scene under that much pressure. It's a hell of a lot easier when you're a nobody that people don't expect to see much from, and even THAT is nerve-wracking. Could you imagine doing it as Desk? People's reaction when ( 'when', not 'if' ) he dropped his combos?

I'm sure Desk is fine where he is as a content creator :D

@14

Sorry fellow Chunner. I can explain more clearly.

1) Charge down for the Spinning Bird Kick

2) Release down and head towards up, as if you were going to complete the SBK.

3) Once you reach the neutral position you perform a stand Mp.

4) On contact of the stand Mp, finish the Up and desired kick to cancel the standing Mp into a Spinning Bird Kick.

It's not easy, but muscle memory kicks in once you've practiced and perfected this technique.

Hope that helps.

i don't know what this sentence was supposed to mean, but sfxt has the same damage scaling system as sf4.

It's called a charge partition, search SF3 3rd strike urien and you will know how it works.

@26 Charge partitioning is breaking a charge into multiple segments, IE letting go of down then going back to it but maintaining charge. What happened in this vid is identical to doing s.MP->Flash Kick in World Warrior. It's not a trick, you're just pressing MP as you move through neutral and the charge doesn't dissipate because you never stop moving the stick.

Also, is this the first legit GODLIKE combo in SFxTK? All the old ones I remember seeing involved either infinite meter using the King EX loop, the Kazuya infinite against large characters or the Toro tag cancel MP infinite.
