NetherRealm, you had my curiosity, but now you have my attention.

Frame data within the game, you say?

cadnexus said on January 30, 2013 at 1:27 p.m.

Capcom does better with character reveals, but not story trailers. Where's the character gameplay Netherrelm? Will there be tag mode?

Hector sanchez > Nistuma , this is how u make a cast for a fighting games based on super heroes , u take the best.

cadnexus said on January 30, 2013 at 1:37 p.m.

@ 13, Considering this game is NOT a crossover, that's not fair to say. Blame Marvel not Niitsuma because they wanted fan favorites in from the Marvel side, the biggest stupid thing with UMvC 3 is No Mega Man on their part.

Just one quick question about the controls: Back to block or press button to block?

@17, this time around its hold back to block

Snake_Eyes, thanks for the info. That means I'll actually be able to play the game, yay :P

@13 It's not Capcom's fault that Marvel only wanted characters that were getting movies to be in the game. Basically if any Marvel character that Capcom wanted in the game wasn't getting a movie or TV show then they weren't gonna be in the game.

Hmmmm...i was kind of skeptical towards this game...but ill get it because of the amount of work they seem to be putting into it. There is no way it will be a bad game, but I hope clashes and such dont interrupt the flow of the fight...thats my biggest and only concern.

This reminds me of the Justice League Unlimited episode where the JL gets sent to another dimension where Flash died and the rest of that dimension's JL became dictators.

im not saying this to cause more discussion but for the people who are comparing mvc3 & umvc3 or any capcom game (in a negative form) to injustice first have to go by the graphics... then there are people saying that capcom doesn't listen to buyers? how can you say that even after they put phoenix wright in the game? Heck i didnt want him he's just an empty slot to me!... How can it be possible for a company to listen to each and every persons demand? yeah they have "tricked" people with the on game dlc and all that but the fact is that the majority of people who criticize capcom games is because they BUY capcom games... you b@tch about games but you bought them! deal with stuff! and i hope my comment is the last talking about capcom in a comment section about a NETHER REALM GAME!!

TorTorVega said on January 30, 2013 at 4:31 p.m.

Wow. I am so glad that Netherrealm is listening. I was sold at back to block when they first announced that, because for me that's always been a major annoyance for me in that team's games. Coming from SF back to block is just natural for me, and a block button has always seemed cumbersome.

Really though it looks like they've actually learned from MK9's shortcomings and are fixing those issues for Injustice.

iMTopTier said on January 30, 2013 at 5:09 p.m.

people still crying about UMvC3 not having a story mode? smh -_-
it's a crossover game with 3v3 teams not a game like MKvDC or MK9

and if Mega Man is not in the game is not really Capcom's fault cuz they have to talk to the owner of the character sign some papers before putting him in the game....Zero and Tron are in the game? they were in before the problem with that guy that left the company

and i hope this game's story is better than MK9 cuz i still dont understand that story to me it makes NO SENSE

gammabolt17 said on January 31, 2013 at 10:26 a.m.

Look at all the people crying about big bad Capcom in here, lol. I love how any other fighter not named Street Fighter or Marvel can get away with minimal story but pitchforks are out at Capcom and Capcom only for this. Like the game would have been any better because of that. Nobody plays arcade mode anyway and the story would have been known before the game was a month old and forgotten about. I know like 2 people total that will play ANY fighting game for story purposes, because they know, once that story is over, there's nothing left to do.
