i dunno, i feel like he is a really solid player, he is just too emotionel and i think that affects his game too much...

also no wonder his stick failed, after seeing that treatment he gave it. i get hella salty when i lose but i would never hit my precious stick like that haha.

And Magneto is fair at best. He's only good with a lock down assist for a high/low but even then you can react to that then push block; if they fake the high then go low, you can grab them with the os push block which RayRay proved on stream.

No one should be crying about Magneto.

That grab scales a lot, unless you have x-factor and/or more than 2 bars its not going to kill anyone at full health.

@15, dude, even if his post is absurd, don't undersell the fact taht Magneto is obviously top tier. Great DHCs, tons of meter gain on BnBs, excellent mobility, good zoning tools, and the icing on the cake, grabbity squeeze. That being said, any post that demonizes him and Doom as braindead but defends Wolverine, Vergil, and Wesker is absurd.

But that's what I love about this site. People who can't play, watching videos of people who can play and calling them free, brain dead or scrubby, cause they use what works, or don't win every match or (gasp) get upset when they lose. Like a fraction of you idiots have ever been in a match someone might want to watch or even turned up a real tournament. Sad.

@16, I agree with everything you said except the DHC part. Magneto's DHC's are very unsafe. Other than that, right on point!

#16, if you actually play Magneto as well as other characters, you would know that he is fair in comparison to the cast.

By fair, if you want Magneto to be effective as you see at tournaments, it requires work. Then theres derp characters that you listed who requires little to no effort. Then theres characters who fall below Magneto who may require a lot of work only to fall short..or characters that just completely suck.

Fact is, Magneto is fair. If you disagree then either:
A. You never played him
B. You are pringles [Needs work on defense, proper screen spacing and placing, ect]
C. You dont know the matchup against Magneto.

I hope you are not serious. ~430k mashed unscaled..you should go through the rest of the cast and test out their level 3s...theyre all unscaled at about the same damage. If I recall, Akumas level 3 does the most damage.

Lets not forget sword loops with three meters and its potential damage output. Lets not forget about how much damage we can squeeze out of three bars of lighting loops, lets not forget about how much damage/chip damage we can do with Astral Vision.

Magneto's EMP loops and Magnetic Blast loops are much flashier and more complex than anything Wolverine or Wesker have.

magneto might be top tier, but he's not worth complaining about because he doesn't have any stupid stuff about him. He is a fair character and if someone beat you with him they deserve the win.

its not like Vergil with rapid slash, swords, and teleports. or Zero with 5x mixups on your incoming character. or Dark phoenix.
