NF|El Gato uploaded an awesome first to 5 set of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 matches between himself and a player named Shuma. These two use a bevy of uncommon characters and showcase a ton of great combos and set ups through out the matches.

El Gato plays a team of M.O.D.O.K., Dr. Strange, Dr. Doom and Shuma runs with Shuma-Gorath, Super-Skrull and Nova. Some of these characters are rarely ever seen at high level and these players do a great job of showing quite a bit of what these teams are capable of.

Amazing video, a bit disappointed by Shuma dropping his or her (lol) combos.
I can't believe Shuma Gorath did at least 80% of Doom health after an air throw, without meter!!!!!

This just in, Shuma will now get picked up by American players acting like a bunch of New York City teenagers following the latest fashion trend. Then a player that placed somewhat consistently in top 16's will find a perfect team that will make everyone start screaming "SHUMA IS A TIER!!"...you heard it here first.

That was amazing gameplay right there, I LOVED the Modok setup with the Hidden Missiles, and did you see that FRAME TRAP that Shuma did?! Seriously he used Nova's Assist to keep him locked down and grabbed him with a level 3, that was TOO GOOD. Needs commentry, hell I might have to commentate on it.

@10 Shuma has always been good, he's just very technical and very much under rated.

With the right team, Shuma is deadly.

MODOK was pretty awsome too, nice to see different point characters besides Vergil and Morrigan these days.

I have learned a thing or two here but I don't think my current team is gonna make him stronger, learned some cool combos though :).

The Bolts/Psionic Blaster combos were funny to watch and hear. That was also the first time I saw a Shuma utilize his grabs well. With MODOK, there is just way to much stuff that I haven't seen before to list.

Very refreshing to see MODOK and Shuma in general.

If only the game was like this all, if not, most of the time-- instead of SOUL FIST, Doom/Dormammu TAC combos and Zero May Crys'

That MODOK makes Frutsy look entry-level--best Modok Ive ever seen. This is what UMVC3 is capable of... and yet you see the same 4 characters doing the same 4 combos.

I think more folks in the FGC should focus on playing this game for fun, instead of looking at the char select screen like there are only 4 options and both players hating the matches b/c each wants to win a few bucks so badly. Low tier w/ good assists are VIABLE--spend time down there and keep this game alive and fun.

If you're having a blast playing this game with a unique or fun team and you don't win tourneys, congratulations on your enthusiasm--it is contagious. If you're picking boring top tier teams and still getting bodied--congratulations on not having fun and wasting people's time.

Amazing MODOK and Shuma. That Dr Strange had some pretty fancy combos also. I love seeing under used characters. It's way more fun to play and watch characters that are hardly chosen.
