How are they being slept on when we've seen all of those characters in tourneys, except for X-23 as of late?

I used to think Joe was low tier until I saw Royal Flush back in Vanilla and thought: What's so bad about this character? Then Dieminion and Kusoru went on to show he could be argued as upper mid in Ultimate.

I also noticed Justin was getting purposefully hit by missiles against Chris G to avoid getting juggled.

X-23 is amazing, and that's why I main her <3

Except zoning. X-23 has problems dealing with that.. But that's why you keep working on your character! Been maining her since vanilla and haven't looked back. (Even as Vergil completely beats her ass..)

Everyone will pick a Vergil... Soon enough.

UMvC3 copied MvC2's worst feature, a lot of characters that aren't viable.

I'm pretty sure everyone noticed everybody getting hit by missiles to prevent themselves from being juggled. I mean, they wouldn't shut up about it on stream now would they?

@ Goose: Every character is viable, but they have limits. We just saw Shuma in Top 8 of a major. That's NEVER happened in 2 years. The difference between MvC 2 and 3 is that you could only pick 6 characters to even get out of your pool, whereas you can place with low tier in this game, but you probably won't win.

gotta pick the cheap stuff if you want to win imo

More people are not picking up Zero. Most people play him like Marn anyways and can only loop on the right side of the screen if at all.
And people can sleep on characters like Skrull all they want because very few people play him.

I play about the lowest level of Marvel there is... but I've always played X-23 and Hawkeye has always been one of my top choices. I like to zone out and build meter with him until I get three bars and a kill. Then dirt nap as X-23 and do nothing because I suck :/

I just woke up so I have no idea what else I was gonna say... I guess, hopefully Laura starts to shine. Here's a little tip with X-23 and Doom: With plasma beam you can set up a left and right with her feints. You can stay in front and attack or go behind with the dive kick

I wonder who's the best character out of all of them.....

As much as I hate to admit it, I can see that in the end it'll be like Marvel 2, but instead of Magneto, Storm, Sentinel teams it'll become Zero, Doom, Vergil :<

Of course Zero and Vergil are popular, they are Power Rangers after all. :P

@ 11 The early years of Marvel 2 had variety as well. It'll be just like Marvel 2 in a few years.

X23 easily top 10 in my opinion just that no one good has picked her up and stayed with her. I remember Justin picking her up once but he only ever did her basic basic stuff. Even recently i saw his X23 again and he was only doing 600k combos wasting a meter when she can easily hit 700k+ meterless.

@21 Only someone with godlike execution can hit X23's optimal combos, which is why she's slept on. Even RayRay who we all know has insane execution says he can't consistently hit her optimal combos.

As a Skrull player from day 1, I can say that the only reason more people don't play Skrull is because of how "random" he can be. Not to mention wave dashing can result in an unwanted Tenderizer.

@4 PPL were purposely getting hit cuz it resets your options and your able to do more like call assists at super jump height or go back into flight mode with a character that has flight to waist morrigans double meter.

My team; Ghost Rider, Hawkeye, Sentinel.

X-23 has low health, will get the touch of death from a ton of current top player teams. Stalker character with not the best options. High damage is hard to get unless proper assists. She has potential.

Same with V. Joe, low health. Keep away, so hard to get that hit on him. If good assists he is pretty solid.

Hawkeye, amazing character. When up against a match in his favor, it will be in his favor greatly. Those with teleports make him stupid to play.

the only reason mvc2 had only 6 viable chars for the past whatever years was because they couldnt release patches or dlc back then. In this day and age, there is always a possibility for an update, so expect tier list to change.
