Red Son was a good story.

I'd just want a DLC costume to have Wonder Woman's original costume. You know, the one without pants.

Also a costume for Flash that doesn't look like Iron Man.

Anyone notice joker was in it? Anyone notice what he was carrying? Its a crowbar. To anyone who know who Jason Todd is this might reveal another character.

yeah I might I'll admit it, but hey, here is some hope for my character coming into the game, and he is the only batman character that could make it in without me getting annoyed..... bane why? And since I think this game will have 28 characters on launch I don't mind 1/4 the caste being batman... ME Don't mind can't talk for rest of the world.

There's only 24 slots on the character select screen, dunno where you're getting that extra 4. There will be DLC characters though.

...just because there's 24 characters slots on the character select screen from the EARLY roster build, doesn't mean it will be actual in final version...SFxT roster changed several times during development phase...i myself find it hard to believe that 24 is final number for the launch day...that gotta be more, otherwise it'll be just another MKvsDC without MK characters...

...and also don't forget MK9 has 33 (if i got that number right...) characters IF including ALL the dlc characters, that came out for it!...WITHOUT all those DLC characters it still pushing 30 (i don't remember precise number, but its very closed to 30 if count all four unplayable bosses!...)...also sorry for double post!...

the video is new, but wasn't the Gamestop pre-order info posted here before?

There is 24. This number was confirmed. The slots are set in stone. It's not like SFxT where the middle block of characters grew over time. One company's early build for their game has nothing to do with another company's early build for their own. Don't lie to yourself.

#12 well if thats true and not some kind of BS then it f*king s*ck donkey balls!...WTF netherrelam is thinking?...out of such a rich universe as DC, they choose only 24 characters total, that appeals most to the public?...gimme a break i give up on this...will wait till someone else make decent DC fighting games with over 50 DC heroes and villains as it actually should be! (probably won't happen or not during my lifetime at least, but one can only hope i guess..)...Boon can have my d*ck in his mouth...

first of all yay i started a conversation. Second I assume 28 due to when they did this to mk9 showing a number roster stating yes we have this many characters then showing they had more (not counting dlc) and saying what? its not like we said that it starts with this many characters we just said that there is this certain amount. Example:Do u have 24 apples? yes. shows them 28. I didn't say I only had 24 apples> ed boon trolls like that all the time wouldn't be surprised if he trolled some more. if we only have 24, then I will be annoyed bane is in and not red hood.... he better have his back breaker move.

i dont remember ed boon saying that there is 24 characters. thats just what people are saying judging by looking at the selection screen. BUT people forget or just didnt care. mk9 stared out the same way and added two more slot for cyber subzero and dlc characters.

This confirms it for me. Waiting for the complete edition of this game. I already spent a butt load of money on MK9, Fool me once NRS.

Red Son is a good story. Got my copy of this game preordered from Gamestop.

I've heard rumors of 28 characters being playable from "friends who have friends who knows a guy that once roomed w/ a NR employee back in college." I would be bouncing off the walls happy if this proves true but only time will tell. ....if they are going to make the claim that this game offers more than MK9 then it should at least have the same launch date character count.

Pre order doesn't mean anything when every single retailer gets something different. Also They showed the new 52 costumes for Batman, Superman and WW in the special edition. So I know that there will be a ridiculous amount of DLC and costumes. Again I will wait for the complete edition like I should have with MK9.

@24, they haven't announced a single preorder bonus anywhere else, and really? You would rather wait a YEAR and pay full price than to pay 20 dollars over the course of that year to play the exact same game?

I don't have to wait a day. I'll be renting this game and playing it. They will get my money once I get the complete edition.

I'm gonna wait to see what other pre-order bonuses come up.
