The stream quality for levelup is indeed awesome. However the problems I have aren't Level Ups fault, but rather Twitch and Flash Player

1. Right out of the gate the Twitch commercials annoy the heck out of me. The twitch player loads the stream FIRST and THEN loads the commercial which slows the video to a jerky crawl...WHY?! At least on youtube the pre-roll ads are loaded first before any of the desired content is shown.

2. The twitch channel layout still sucks even with the new 'beta' layout. It's just not that useful or appealing to look at to me.

3. I can play GOD-F'N-LIKE 720p 60 frames per second video on my computer (read: direct download footage of Skullgirls in absolutely perfect quality...no I'm not kidding it was a legal download the developer posted on megaupload before the game came out), but flash player conspires to rob me of huge overhead processing that makes even normal 720p 30 fps look pretty bad. The subsequent 480p option can look ok but when the action heats up its unwatchable unless I have it windowed.

All that being said, I'm still hella grateful to even have a stream to watch. I have no idea how much work it takes to produce one, and if you can watch it at full quality (or near it anyway) I'm sure it's worth it. I'm not even complaining about having to pay $3 for stream chat because 95% of the time nobody responds to what I'm saying anyway.

That's just my opinion. Anyone else have problems with flash/twitch? I'd love to hear other users opinions.

OK I take that back, the new Twitch layout is awesome. The window is bigger which lessens my need for full screen and at 720p 60fps the quality is amazing! The advertisments still lag but that's ok.

@24 I guess they're trying to add more content between matches and keep the stream watchers entertained. Whether it will work I don't know. I think it's kinda cool, but the interviewers could use some work on the questions they ask.

Shinzo I feel you man. Right now there's only 1500 people watching KOF stream and there's almost no one talking. I know SF4 and Marvel are really popular, but I expected something decent for KOF. Be patient, perhaps KOF and P4A finals will have a stronger showing.

@40: Infiltration used Rolento and Lili and straight bodied everything. The amount of rush down Lili put on with the safe entries and escapes Rolento provided made it almost heartbreaking. Seriously, there was no chance. Some dude even tried to run for the win. Lili chased his ass down and took him out with an anti-air.

Even with all that, his Rolento managed to clock in the ONLY time out of the entire session.

#46 Latif came 2nd in the evo that you're thinking of. Although to be fair, he ran a train through that top 8 over anyone not named Fuudo.

Infiltration too powerful, the only counter to him is Kazunoko. Against Daigo I felt like it was a close battle with Inf having an edge but here Latif didn't know what was going on, out of 3 rounds he got, one was Inf just trolling with Ultra.

Latif is not an evo champ, but he doesnt looks as strong as in his runner up year.

Look man... i wasn't cheering for either but i felt sorry for Latif. Infil broke the young man. I think he'll lose next round and then go hang himself (figuratively of course).

At #72, we gotta add Daigo to the list. I agree with you that Dieminion, PR Rog and Latif may not be the best in the world. Latif at one time maybe-seem kinda rusty. But Daigo is definitely the best Ryu in the world.

Holy crap, shoutouts to level|up for some of the best stream quality, production values, lack of downtime and scheduling I've ever seen for a fighting game event. Basically every other streamer needs to step up their game now.

@91 - givem some slack. It's not like they're pros. Even Chen and Ultradavid were wack commentators just a little ways back but now they're comfortable with it and now come across pretty well. If these snippets were done with a little more comfort and depth - like ask pertinent questions and get good answers, i think they may be very good. Plus nice to see cute little girls involved sometimes.

Personally I think she asked more than enough for a 30 second interview and they seem to know exactly whats going on. Sounds like a personal problem you have in my opinion man. Don't know what to say.
