I really really hope all these characters that have been 'revealed' are actually playable. How big of a slap in the face would it be if half of them just made a small appearance in story mode? We need some confirmations and some gameplay trailers. We haven't even seen Joker and Green Lantern in action yet.

#41 Well considering this game is following DC52 which is pretty much a reboot of the entire DC universe that technically never happened anymore, at least not yet anyway.

Can't say I'm happy about this. I personally don't care for Raven and NRS is gonna make her look butt ugly just like the few girls already in this game.

I like her much better in the comics than in the show. She was a little too bitchy in the show. She's so sweet in the comics. She's my favorite comic book character of all time... I just love her story. She's constantly f*cked with by her past and her inner demons (literally), yet all she wants to do is help her team. She endures their pain for them, heals them and has a unique and awesome set of powers.

They kinda messed her up a bit in Titans vol. 2, but she was still really cool... they just gave her a bit of a bitchier attitude, like she had in the animated series. But hell, she was still a teenager and was actually in school, having to deal with dumb teenage bitches on-top of her demon family and her team going through some pretty depressing stuff. So I think she's earned a bit of an attitude.

OT: As excited as I am about this news, and please don't think I'm hating; but NRS has a horrible track record when it comes to the female face. The body is usually on point, but the faces are just awful. Again I loved MK 9, but seeing Kitana mask-less or looking at Sindel and Sonya I just cringe.

I still can't wait for this game.

I didn't think Sonya, Kitana, Jade or Sindel looked bad. Could have been better, but I didn't find them ugly.

The last thing I'm worried about are how pretty the faces are to be honest.

I´ll be interested to see if this game sells well or not. It seems that unless you are a comic book nerd who´s been living in your parents' basement for 20 years you won't recognize half of the roster.

I don´t know who most of these fighters are, then again I've never been into comics. Still, the fact that really popular heros from the Batman/Superman universes are represented may be enough to get people to buy. I admit I have watched Teen Titans before so at least I know something about them.

I don't get the hype for this game. It's just mortal kombat with reskinned characters and new moves.

Raven's design looks amazing (even from far away lol)! I only started reading comics 1 and a half years ago, so I never knew her outside of the Teen Titans show, which I didn't like. But I love her powers and design, so I hope this game introduces her in a great way and maybe we'll see her in the new 52.

People did complain about Marvel being a sausage fest though. It just doesn't feel right when the gender balance has way too much of a ratio difference. A 60:40 male to female ratio is acceptable but not when it's a 80:20 ratio like UMVC3 or this.

@88 There's no block button, so there's crossovers. That alone makes this an entirely different beast than MK.

I perfer Circe over Raven, but Raven will be a good character though.

I don't even play fighting games that much anymore, but they just got my money if Raven's in it.

I'm assuming all the cartoon teen titans will be in, as it was a pretty popular series and that's what most people will be familiar with.

Dude, it LOOKS like Mk but it ain't Mk. SfxT looks like Sf4 with Tekken characters but even those games are entirely different beasts.

Here are a few differences:
-No block button which heavily influences the footsie game and allows for crossups
-Characters have different walk speeds and dashes as compared to Mk9 where they were more or less universal
-Jump arcs are vastly different whereas they were universal across the roster in Mk9
-Every character has unique air normals unlike Mk9
-Some characters have access to air dashes which wasn't the case in Mk9
-This game has legitimate grapplers unlike Mk9
-Each character's gimmick button allows for crazy possibilities (For example Batman's gimmick summons bats that can act as assists to make his attacks safe or help with his rushdown)
-There are hit trades in this game unlike Mk9
-Some characters have varying/ unique mobility options(Batman has a double jump and a glide; Cyborg has a grapple; Flight based characters can air dash)

And that's just scratching the surface

Tempting, but my point still stands. I played MK and didn't liked it at all, but this game is a bit different cause Bane and Luthor being in it. And tbh I do think SFxT and SSF4 are rather the same or the major components of it are the same. At least NR did some work instead of being half assed.

Which is why I still have interest in this game, and hoping it to be more unique than MK.
