Chris G is a great strategist, nor Phoenix was enough to defeat him for it.

The combo into Soul Drain at the end to avoid awakening Dark Phoenix and getting the kill, that was f*cking brilliant. People might not like Chris G's Morrigan/Doom tactics, but he's the only one that actually took the time to learn the character. He is about the only one that can continue a combo after confirming with the fireball bullet hell he creates with Morrigan.

I think everyone is giving him a little to much credit on that soul steal, I mean yea he is a great player and i like his style. He confirms after fireballs but its not like morrigan players havent done soul steal on phoenix before to finish her off.

@#4 It wasn't the soul drain that was godlike, it was the fact that it happened at the LAST POSSIBLE moment before phoenix would've changed.

@4 Your trying to downplay his victory over this scenerio because he happened to win with Morrigan. This is'nt some random Pheonix Scrub, this is F.Champ, winner of Evo 2012. Most players can never think with a clear head while having to clutch like this. We can because we are just watching, not playing. ChrisG is showing us that he can think clearly under pressure and this win is a testimate to that. Epic clutch FTW!!!

Chris G is on another level. I can't wait for SCR, I hope he spanks west coast, and finally prove he's the best in the world.
