Do they only sell these in pairs? These are too expensive to buy a pair if you are only interested in one. These should be sold separately for people who are only fans of one character or series.

Please tell me those prices are typos. What kind of idiot would spend a grand on two toys?

they do sell them separately check bigbadtoystore.com and tfaw.com theres also a few other websites you can find them at but theyre nice statues thats why theyre so expensive also because theyre very limited and trust me they sell .. the doom statue is already sold out for preorder on some sites .. i have a few statues of my own and believe me , the pics dont really capture how awesome these things look when you have it in your hands the detail and the weight and the paint jobs are phenomenal .. if you have the cash its well worth it!

I don't really like them. They look pretty low quality, at least design wise. Mainly I consider the faces unappealing. Dr. Doom probably looks the best out of all them, then Wolverine. Would not buy.

So, you'll share outrageously overpriced novelty action figures, but not the news I shared about the hyped reveal of the new X-Men #1; the reboot of the volume with Storm, Rogue, Psylocke, Jubilee, Rachel Grey, and Kitty Pride as the main cast?

Some Marvel fans.

@7
I thought this back then too. How someone could drop so much money on a toy. But recently I've been in love with the vinyl art scene, and it changed my mind a lot. Most of the time you'll actually be making money, or at least the money back, especially if they're small run sizes (500 is relatively small).

I've bought a toy from an artist that I love back in November. It cost me $200. It's now selling for +$400. And the stuff that I'm into aren't even the most sought after pieces. Those can really turn a huge profit down the line.

So I don't think it's that idiotic to collect something you love, with at least the potential of getting your money back if not a profit. As long as you understand it's a luxury and don't let it ruin the other parts of your life, you're good.

i agree that the sculpt looks meh .. or at least to me it does the only one worthy is dr. doom theres better wolvie statues out there but pop culture shock has a damn sick sagat and classic umk3 scorpion statue in the works i think bowen and sideshow and kotobukiya have better statues .. just my opinion and as a comic junkie that all female xmen #1 has me hyped!!

If you like Wolvie there are tons of great statues out there. Doom too, but a lot less options.

They should make a Foot Dive Playset for Doom. His figure would have weighted legs with light up feet and sound, and he would come with a remote controlled lift that could carry him up to 10 ft. high, and then drop him down on to the action figure of your choice. If you mashed the controls, it could also double as a nutcracker! "FOOT-FOOT DIVE! TIME TO EAT!"

These look horrendous, the sculpt is well below standards. And the paint apps look like arts and craft store paint!

Decent, but not for these prices.

PCStoys still owning in the SF statue department. Ryu 1/1 bust coming soon:)

@guys interested in the X-Men relaunch

Here is the link after the series was revealed yesterday:
http://www.denofgeek.us/books-comics/...

The book doesn't launch until April, unfortunately, but it's gonna have a good ride going in. Until then, Cyclops, Mags, Magik, Danger, and Frost will be the stars of the relaunched Uncanny X-Men as anti-heroes. The X-world had been steamy.
