lmao at Zhi's Commentary...I like how Infiltration being warm-up and solid as always in these sets whenever he's loses then comeback to win in his favor. Good Matches to both of them.
@2 Idk how many times I have tried to like Zhi. I give him a chance every single time. :[
#3 I kinda like his commentary but he be way off talking about the characters looks during the match...
#5 Kayane is French. That's Jasmine who played against Infiltration FT3.
@9 - advanced level for u I guess. The training stage has cubes that you can use to measure your distance (from your opponent). Thus you know how far to be to sweep, dash throw, etc. You might memorize or guesstimate that on other stages - training stage is easiest to use. Hope that clears it up for you.
@11 I'm sure you're right. But when thousands of $$ are involved, it's best to be sure. That's why I asked if it was an exhibition. Scrubs like you don't seem to notice and don't even understand when explained to you. You just think training stage is his favorite stage that he happens to pick when he's running big $$. Stay free.
Someone tell Dieminion and jason24cf that Infiltration still seems pretty good with Gouken lmfao.
Now you wanna see his Hakan? Lol.
Just sayin, give credit when it's due. I agree match ups play a role 'at the highest level' of play. But skilled players like infiltration kick some a$$ regardless of character.
Dieminion (who is amazing) makes it sound like he's doing Gods good work by using Guile lol. And J.Wong isn't much better lately calling versatile characters "boring".
Anyway, on topic. Sick Gouken man!
@13 Ummm.... They never said that he was not good with gouken. Notice how infiltration only uses gouken in certain matchups because gouken is NOT SOLID. He can really only work in certain matchups.
Infiltration is smart and thats how it should be done playing at highlevel. He only seems to use gouken while fighting guile, sagat, zangeif. Sakura blows up gouken and thats why he didn't use him. Humanbomb would have ate gouken for breakfast.
I don't blame jwong for saying what he said. Its important to play a character you have fun with and to me akuma and cammy fielong are pretty boring too me. I can see how seth and Cviper can be fun though. Shout outs to dieminion for making so far with guile although I feel guile is ALOT stronger then people make him out to be. He has a very solid character design that works on most characters.
@14
But the interview implied (or outright said incorrectly) that he "dropped Gouken in favor of a high tier Akuma".
My point was to illustrate that they didn't know wtf they were talking about. Dieminion didn't step up and say 'oh, he still uses Gouken as a counter pick'. He just said "he does well with a high tier character".
No mention that he also plays several "low tiers" at a high level (like Die kept giving himself props for). Get it?
And the interviewer didn't even know that he played Akuma and Ryu long before Gouken and Hakan. He just assumed (incorrectly) that Infil had dumped low tier in favor of high tier.
Dumb stuff. Hope you understand now.
As far as Justin....
I do blame him for saying what he said. He's always talking about "having a pocket Ryu", or using characters to counter pick. And he's used several GOOD characters throughout SF4 (Balrog, Rufus, Cammy, Adon, Yang), but now speaks as though he's walked the hard road as a character loyalist using a "exciting, yet limited low tier" lol, like Rufus isn't amazing!
Because if he picked "high tier" it'd be boring and he wouldn't fully utilize the character. Lol, boo hoo hoo. Bull$hit! He's the most Pot splittingist pro gamer in the biz! If he could win every tournament with "top tier" he would.
Btw, him and Ricky won plenty of 1st and 2nd places with Rufus last year. So boring dive kick master Rufus is still doing just fine.
Again, hope you see what I was getting at with my original post.
I'd also like to add that I very much like Dieminion and Justin as Players. But these two guys have poor attitudes in this instance.
Too many dudes in that small ass room. Lol
Zhi looking like he's high as hell. :)
@16 i already know from your past arguments with other ppl that arguing with you is like arguing with a brick wall,but just never said rufus was low-tier and he said "If I played Akuma or Cammy, I don’t think I’d play them to their potential, because I find them extremely boring to play" he didnt say playing a top tier would be boring.
@19
1) Thanks for the strange insult. Very nice way to start a convo.
2) If you have valid points I am more than happy to listen and possibly adjust/change my POV.
3) What characters do you think he was referring to? The bottom tier? It was in reference to pocket characters and counter picking in light of all of the recent "pick top tier to win" debate.
Point #3 might have required you to use insight and read between the lines a bit. The article has a subtext.
Just curious, how long have you followed my EH conversations? You know so much about me. I've never made any valid points?
I had a Wii argument on here and the dude I was arguing with completely changed my POV on the Wii.
I'm only a "brick wall" when I'm right lol. What ev.
But in case you missed this... You didn't need to "read between the lines".
"CoolGrayAJ: You’ve said before that you just want to win now, and you’ve expressed your interest in playing top tier. Can you elaborate on this more, because we haven’t really seen this either in SF or in Marvel."
He was asking him about "Top Tier". It's right there.
Some call me a brick wall......
Others call me a guy with basic reading comprehension.
I stopped watching after zhi mentioned sakura's red panties for the fourth time in the first five minutes. I watch to see some high level matches and maybe to learn a few things, not to listen to the humor of a nine year old. Shut up and get a girl friend already.
deiminion was just annoyed that players aren't rated properly but infiltration counter picks so saying infil looks pretty good with gouken doesn't make sense. infiltration is still godlike though tokido was the only other top level akuma player i know so it's not always down to the char more the player.
@23
Ironically, Zhi is one the most knowledgeable commentators when he feels like it.
Who cares? Dieminion is THE example of a loyal player who sticks with his characters but justin?
Infiltration Gouken is just wow! He is the best, just accept it. He plays his 3 characters at their maximum (almost) potential.
And I completely agree with @Aluppoj
@25 wtf?!that was random..what does my avatar have to do with anything?!omg some random on eventhubs doesnt like my avatar maybe i should go change it XD,btw they're wayyyy better chun li pics out there,do you care? lol from my past post? i re-read them and all seem like i was defending something or someone,maybe i could be less insulting,but im not talking bad about people ive never met,"dieminnion doesnt know what hes talking about"im sure he knows more than you about fg and the fgc,now if you said i "disagree" with him,that would of not been insulting
