Do people really still try to do combos when they can just Soul Fist x300 and win easy.

@9 yeah, chris g does com-- well he did until he couldnt beat anyone by playing legit. now he combos, but only soul fist into fly/unfly, and more soul fist... the sad part is, people are only starting to copy him and win as well (although technically chris g copied dieminion)hopefully astral vision and soul fists get destroyed so morrigan can be played the way she was meant to be (i say this as a morrigan player who can spam, but chooses not to)

i like victory to feel earned.

It's a legitimate stategy, rushdown is not the only viable playstyle in the world, neither is it the only one that takes skill.

I hope they keep it the way it is, and people are forced to learn to counter it (which good players will) or sit there dumbfounded do to their inability to adapt.

(that 's why i consider MvC3 to be quite hardcore compared to other game, well, for good players, sure i can do the basic combos but that's all, cannot do the touch of death nor loops)

So, i haven't played this game for a while, first off. But, doesn't PW say "Take This" even though the speech bubble is different? Did they patch that or something, or was there hax involved?

@9 If it was going to turn into MorriDoom, it would have a long time ago. Fact is, not everyone can use MorriDoom no matter how easy mode it looks.

@11 Name one other MorriDoom player that's winning. Unless you're talking about online.

The only thing that should be changed about Morrigon is that she should not gain meter while in Astral Vision and Chris has become so good with the character that I dont that it would ultimately stop him from winning you would still have to do what players should be doing right now coming up with strategies or teams to beat her.I find it funny people think Chris G is the one who should stop playing Morrigon and not the other way around which is the players should come up with ways to beat her.

Just for the record as was stated before go in training mode and try to what Chris G does with Morrigon and so how easy it is looking easy and being easy are to different things.

Seeing vids like this gives me a slight inkling to try UMvC3 again. Really sick stuff.

Wow, I come hear wanting to comment on the awesome Skrull combo at the end, and everyone here is whining about Morrigan.

Other than ChrisG, who wins with Morrigan? It's insanely hard to win with her. And also, ChrisG does combos you idiots. Didn't you see the amazing soul drain combo he did against FChamp's Phoenix?

@17 Morri/Doom isn't evolving the game. It's devolving the game. Everyone keeps saying hurr durr adapt adapt, but where are YOUR answers to beating this? How are YOU adapting? All you do is defend your hero Chris G and tell everyone to adapt, but you tell me how to deal with a broken unavoidable hidden missile assist flying at you from above with highly during soul fist spam flying at you horizontally from both sides? The only way to get a hit on Morri/Doom is to get lucky, that's it. There's no strategy, there's no answer, it's just get lucky or get chipped to death and die. It's not evolving, it's a strategy using a broken assist to win. Not to mention adding another broken character (Vergil) on the team as assurance to you can lvl3 xfactor your opponent to death in case your morri/doom does get touched. Like I said, to Sanford and you people crying ADAPT ADAPT, how about YOU come up with something and then get back to me, but until then, STFU.

@29 No fool, I blow up any Morri/Doom fraud I play online because they aren't real and can't properly flight cancel a soul fist. If that's your best response to what I said then my point continues to be proven.

Dorm is a good counter. Dorm/doom is A perfect counter. Basically the match then becomes"whoever gets started first" wins.
Vergil is a hard counter. You have as many chances you want so long as you have meter.
Skrull is a random counter.
Magneto is decent as he snipes morri or doom.
Zero is good with buster snipes.
Dante with any decent assist is good.
strider's Vajra assist really messes with morri's timing.

The reason why champ lost so easily is because he used phoenix. If he used magneto to snipe and build meter, then get started with dorm/doom, then the match might have been different.

If you cant beat morrigan with these characters, then that player is just better than you.

Also if you touch or grab morrigan once, she should die.

@crispylinks: IF you touch Morrigan. I've seen all the characters you mentioned get blown up by Chris G's Morri/Doom.

^ like I said. If you can't beat morrigan with those characters, that just means the morri player is better than you.

Nerdjosh is pretty good with morri/doom but he losses to other players. PR Rog does well with morri/doom at the fgtv house, but I'm sure FChamp beats his Morri/Doom rather easily.

Noel Brown does very well against Morri/Doom unless he's facing Chris G.

The Haggar/She-Hulk/Hsien Ko and the Hawkeye/Storm combo, anyone?

@28 awww is some one salty and besides a good magician never gives away his secrets. though morrigans super does need to be nerfed but other than that use dorm. he can destroy those 3 well 2 of them at least and besides its about application if you don't do it correctly your gonna have a bad day.

Chris G change how the game was played and he keeps getting better and tweaking his characters.Also,you have to appreciate that Soul canceling....That technique is hard!!!! O_O

Either way,it's not the characters...It's Chris G.Unless you face him every single week(like Flux or Ray Ray),it's all moot.I haven't faced a decent Morridoom shell in PSN and if I did,I would be ecstatic to take my team against them.Not whine...>_>

Again,get better with your characters and figure out a way to take either Doom or both out the equation.
