SNK to officially support Japanese King of Fighters 13 and 2002 UM major V-1 FINAL for the first time

SNK to officially support Japanese King of Fighters 13 and 2002 UM major V-1 FINAL for the first time MadMan Cafe's Professor has recently unveiled the details behind the first 2013 King of Fighters 13 majors in Japan titled V-1 FINAL. This is the very first King of Fighters 13 major tournament to receive support from the company SNK itself. Such support is a long time coming and is much welcome. This tournament was run in conjunction with a previous tournament titled KCECup5 which offered seeding points for V-1 FINAL.

Also reportedly confirmed for this tournament is the appearance of EVO 2012 champion CafeID|MadKOF, CafeID|Guts, CafeID|Verna, and Lacid for the Korea vs. Japan 5v5 exhibition at the end of V-1 FINAL. Several of these players will also be making an appearance during the actual tournament as well.

The entire tournament will be streamed at this link which requires a Nicovideo login. Once you log in, click on the white door to enter. This tournament begins at 10PM ET (7PM PT).

Schedule:
7PM PT, 10PM ET - King of Fighters 2002 UM Qualifiers
9PM PT, 12AM ET - King of Fighters 13 Qualifiers
11PM PT, 2AM ET - King of Fighters 2002 UM Finals (Top 8 assumed)
1AM PT, 4AM ET - King of Fighters 13 Finals
3AM PT, 6AM ET - Korea vs Japan King of Fighters 13 5v5
