AndyOCR, Richard Nguyen, Tatsu and Warahk have been released from team Eternal Rival after a year on sponsorship. This sponsorship group has had a number of notable finishes over the last year, including Tatsu getting 5th place in Street Fighter X Tekken at the 25th anniversary grand finals in December.Orange County, California. As of today, after a year of sponsorship, Eternal Rival has release AndyOCR, Richard Nguyen, Tatsu and Warahk from Team Eternal Rival. Eternal Rival wishes them the best on their endeavors and future aspiration and will always have special place as family at Eternal Rival.
Eternal Rival will not be looking for new players to sponsor.

Eternal..... lasts only one year¿ What is the world coming to, when "Eternal" is so short¿ Guess there were some economic battles, huh¿ >_>
Monique always hated ER. Now she can blow them up on Twitter even more for dropping her son.
@ Catalust because a percentage of this community rather hate on people than give them props or show support based on their good intentions for the community and its players.
This is the same percentage that makes up the stream monsters masses who do not support the tournament scene. Rather, they instead hide behind a monitor and bring this community down by attacking those who ACTUALLY attend tournaments.
I feel their shirt designs are solid. My friend got the Narcisstic Psychopath one and it's great. Not as overt and tacky as just throwing a character on there but especially good if you know what it actually is. I hope Tatsu gets picked up, especially with XT13 coming soon.
@Everyone who thinks these guys "suck".
AndyOCR is an awesome Fighting Game player ( He plays everything.)
Tatsu is a competent SFXT Player who did well in the 25th Anniversary Tournament.
Richard Nguyen wrote the book on Dante in MVC3 and has a nasty Adon.
Warahk has a good Guile and is also a competent player.
Are these guys the best of the best? No, but they aren't as free as you all make them out to be.
those said players did nothing to promote the ER name so no wonder they got dropped....they should've did their research before picking players to sponsor
I havent really been following the other players much, but Richard Nguyen and Tatsu are both godlike FG players, they are the exact opposite of being scrubby.
@DMG_Hyena i disagree, stream monsters are actually supporting the scene by tuning into the streams, why do you think streams like Team Spooky, Jaxel, And to an extent Stickbug along with others became popular? Because of people tuning into their streams. Also some of us just cant afford to travel to tourneys due to lack of money, our jobs, people that have families to take care of etc. Not everyone has the same luxury as some of these sponsored players. Of course you are gonna have your trolls, its inevitable, but bashing stream monsters in general is pretty ignorant of you.
For the record, my #1 post was not sarcastic. It was inquiring.
@Divine "but bashing stream monsters in general is pretty ignorant of you." not ignorant of me at all. There are two types of stream monsters, 1- those who do support the stream to help out streams like Bifuteki and Spooky and in turn, supports the community 2- then you have the ones who spit hateful, ignorant comments throughout the duration of the tournament just because they can and just makes us look bad.
My point is that stream monsters will be stream monsters and you are right about that. The percentage of the stream monsters who are there just to bring this community down, is the percentage that I am referring to.
Along with some of the people who comment on here. Just hate on for no reason or lack of a better term; non educational when it comes to the topic.
You can tell most of the current stream monsters are new when they label Tatsu an SF X T player:

One of the best Vegas and X-23s on the planet.
@DMG_Hyena and @Catalyst
Am i crazy or am i the only one who realizes that this is the internet....
We are still on the internet right?
Look, I dont like it eather, but the internet community in general has been spitting hatefull comments and not supporting scenes since i was a kid first on the internet (im 28).
The fact of the matter is that people get on a televison like screen and go "Oh gee golly i can make up my own name, AND IT DOESNT HAVE TO BE MINE! and then "oh wow gee golly gosh darn! AND NOONE CAN SEE ME! IM GOING TO CALL EVERYONE THE N WORD NOW TEE HEEE ^_^
LOOK AT ME GUYS IM ON THE INTERNETS!
Fact is there are way more trollers out there/people who just in general want to see other people fail, then there are people who actually want to feel bad for someone/want to see people succed.
Its the way of the interent, like i said, i dont like it eather.
But oh well, dont feed the trolls and just move on.
If Richard Nguyen, AndyOCR, and Tatsu are crap players, I don't even know how to press buttons. I always laugh when I see nobodies call established players crap. Dudes like revolvingsun who's, if I am recalling this correctly, most recent contribution is bitching that some dude uploaded replays of him losing rounds lol.
Must be sad to be such a negative person. Try being happy. It feels great!
@DMG_Hyena: Makes sense. The way you worded it seemed to imply that all stream monsters spew nonsense and dont support the community when its not 100% true at all. I guess i came down kinda hard on you, and for that i apologize if i offended you in anyway. Thats just the nature of the internet really, kids just being immature about everything. Imo the best thing to do is just ignore the stream chat really, i do because whenever i try to have an actual discussion about whats going on, someone goes and derails it usually with some dumb meme or the usual fraud or scrub calling. This site is no different really
Regardless still glad to see people like Spooky, Koogy and the BT guys, Stickbug, markman, and the DMG guys supporting the scene and the players despite all the negativity not only on streams but on sites like EH, SRK, and twitch. Dont let the negativity bring you down.
Perhaps they could move over to KS or even Madcatz. Complexity currently only has one player for the FG roster, so they might need additions to their roster.
Damn, I hope they get something better and that it lasts more than a year.
Wish them the best, they really put in the effort in sponsoring players which in its own is a great thing, I just hope that in the future ER will figure out something solid that can both support the FGC and be profitable.
@Tatsu
With your skill I believe you wont be long on the free agent plate.
Unfortunately the world is still with its own share of haters, best ignore them.
@DevilMaySpy - "You can tell most of the current stream monsters are new when they label Tatsu an SF X T player:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7mlnO...
One of the best Vegas and X-23s on the planet."
So true - Tatsu was seriously one of my inspirations to play a team of Deadpool/X-23(with Shuma anchor) for the brief time I played UMvC3. Granted I'm nowhere near as good at all, lol.
@GLK - "Wow, some of you have no respect for quality players. Stay free forever, scrubs."
Quoted for truth.
These guys are some of the most talented player in the US by a long shot... but I really can't blame ER for not supporting them when you rarely see them in tournaments anymore (except maybe for Tatsu). I honestly don't remember the last time I saw AndyOCR make top 8 for anything, and Rich Nguyen has been in a character crisis since vanilla MVC3 faded away and UMVC3 came out. As for Warahk... I don't remember even seeing the guy play in the last year. It is a shame that they have been dropped out but if they can't deliver consistent results then it is to be expected.
About the shirts: Say what you will about ER, but their shirt are actually really nice (I have one, I love it).
Not surprised. Not because the players are bad but because fighting games don't have much to market aside from t-shirts.
That sucks. I am sure they will someone will look out for them though. They are all good players.
