Surprised to see MK9 over KOF, that's unfortunate.

MK9 really, that game and crowd on last evo was like a dead horse, KOF got more hype on both game and crowd compare to that sh*tty game!

I'm happy. AE and KOF is all I needed with a lil UMVC3.

I don't think that poll was legit at all. Way to many ways to make multiple accounts and boost a certain game. I'm not saying that this could happen in the donation drive, but the chances are unlikely

Glad to see all of my personal favorites, AE, UMvC3, SFxT, MK9 and TTT2. Was a little worried about SFxT with all the sh!t surrounding that title.

From what I've heard, it's 1v1, no gems.

TT2, SFXT, SFAE, is all i need, and i guess ill watch marvel until combofiend, chris g, and juston Wong tong gets eliminated.

MK9 is much more alive than SFXT or KOF to be honest. I know this and I don't play the game.

I hope KoF13 finals are on friday.

Whats the deal with mk9? The game aint hype, the game aint fun to watch, The game hasnt get a MEANINGFUL update since a year or something theres nothing new on it, there a tons of new fighting games that deserve a chance better than MK9

Surprised Persona 4 Arena is there, good game nonetheless. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 makes me cringe at how boring past Tekken finals have been, but i'll give it another chance. Sad DoA5 didnt make it since it would allow not just DoA players join but some VF5 players as well. Here's me hoping to Injustice or DoA5

Sucks that they won't allow gems in SFxT, is like they don't get that the game SHOULD be played with them. Just limit them to the most basic ones and that's it.

After watching SFxT on the SF 25th Anniversary tournament, I'm pretty excited to see what's in store for the game at this years EVO.

Honestly this is a perfect list.

You have your main Capcom games - AE, Marvel, SFXT
You have your 3D fighter - Tekken
You have your Anime game - Persona
You have your non-Capcom 2D fighters - KOF, MK

Considering that hardly anyone outside of Korea or Japan plays KOF, yeah, he should let the horrendous online deter him.

KoF and P4? Awesome! Hope Kof is as hype as last year. Looking forward to some memorable moments from P4.

Personally, I like to watch:
1. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
2. Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition v2012
3. Tekken Tag Tournament 2
5. Street Fighter X Tekken v2013 (just out of curiosity)
6. King of Fighters 13

I wish the last game to be in order of preference:
- DoA4
- Soul Calibur4
- GGXX/Blazeblue

PS: I will not watch any other game.

MK9 is horrible-- no updates, boring gameplay, boring players. At least a DOA5 showing would've shown something new, and at the very least bring in new meat to take the stage. Sick of seeing the same old faces winning DOA tourneys because they're the only ones who travel and play in that small clique of theirs.

Anyway, this line up looks pretty nice.Looks like their something for everybody.Im a little surprised SC didn't make the cut over a certain other game that i think shouldn't have been there, but thats their choice and good for them.Crossing my fingers DOA will take the 8th spot, but no big deal if doesn't thanks to IPL, so good luck to other candidates.

That's kinda my thoughts. I love the animation. And story would be fun for a hot minute.... But if the game has no online community that kills it for me.

KOFXIII AE2012 UMC3 P4:A well of course those games would make the list all good games. Need More Guilty Gear, Third Strike, Skull girls, & Dead Or Alive, & Melee. I just feel like EVO needs more games. For everyone to play.

@70 yeah i understand you, online is always a factor especially since you need experience to be good at the game, but you gotta remember in KOF XIII you gotta spend a ridiculous amount of time in training mode. Its unlike any current gen 2D fighter out.

@70 I believe the demo for KOFXIII allows you to play online, I'm not %100 sure about that though. Try it out there if you're hesitant about the online experience.

For sure, and I'd probably buy it just for that. But without the opportunity to test that training down the road I'd kinda feel like I was waisting my time.

Don't be discouraged about online and I'm surprised that you didn't know about this, but you can always checkout the DreamCancel.com forums for matchmaking if you want to play with players with good connection.

I'd take some days off to go to EVO if Vampire Savior was there, but alas, the event is just too lame as it stands for me to miss money.

For those who are saying MK's community is dead, you're out of touch with reality. MK9 got over 100 people at NEC. MK9 has consistently gotten better numbers than KOF and Persona.

They are setting up for a larger chance to have timeouts by excluding gems in SFxT. This will only lead to more bad publicity and people judging aspects of the game for the wrong reasons. Pleasing the uninformed...SIGH

If MK got a spot again, KOF better have gotten one too. Glad to see it show up. Loving the lineup, also hoping for CvS2 or Guilty to nab that last spot.
