Bane and Lex Luthor have both been confirmed for Injustice: Gods Among Us in this month's issue of @Gamer Magazine.

Bane is seen with his Venom tubes that have been a staple of his character since his first appearance in 1993. Bane is known as being the man who broke Batman's back with his abnormal physical strength and is known to have extremely high intelligence, be an expert in hand to hand combat and also being an expert strategist.

Lex Luthor is seen in his Warsuit which was built on Apokolips, it gives him super strength, flight and even a force field, which put Lex on an even playing field with Superman.

Hooray I have been checking all day to see if this was gonna get shown. I work at Best Buy and we literally just got these magazines in today. Not only does it reveal Bane and Lex but it talks about the Story and shows a few screens. Overall a good read if your just popping in at Best Buy it's like a 6 page story.

Lex Luthor was a given, but we really didn't need yet ANOTHER Batman character when the roster size is only 24. 25% of the roster (6 out of 24) of a game revolving around the whole DC Universe is composed of Batman characters. Granted, Batman is by far one of DC's most prominent and popular superheroes but more variety is far more preferable. I feel like DC is squandering an opportunity to get more of their lesser-known characters into the spotlight.

Just for the over analytical people. On the first image with Bane and Lex the magazine says "introducing the four newest fighters" they show Bane, Lex, DeathStroke and Catwoman so don't get your hopes up for anyone else just yet. The Joker is featured on the cover of the magazine and they do show the Green Lantern and Joker photo that we have all seen.

Granted, there are a lot of Batman characters that would just naturally make amazing fighting game characters... but I want more variety.

A Batman fighting game would totally be cool as a sequel or spinoff.

Still... it's bitter sweet. Bane is definitely fighting game material... but then again, he's still another slot given to the Batman family.

Not really that stoked for Lex... but I guess there are worse choices.

Bring on Raven, Starfire, Beast Boy and Brother Blood!

Raven is my absolute favorite comic book character. I've a mini-shrine built to her with statues and a framed comic about her :P.

I think with Nightwing and Cyborg (even though he's also affiliated with the JL now), that Raven, Starfire and Beast Boy would be pretty big crowd-pleasers. Brother Blood would make an excellent nemesis for them, alongside Deathstroke. I also think Trigon would make an excellent boss.

I'd also like to see Red Lantern Laira and Yellow Sinestro for Hal Jordan's rivals. Cerce, Ares or Dr. Psycho for Wonder Woman's nemesis. Gorilla Grod as Flash's nemesis. Also... Swamp Thing, Dr. Fate or Zatanna, Hawkgirl or Hawkman, Supergirl or Powergirl, Black Adam and Captain Marvel...

Man I could go on forever. I'm such a DC fanboy, lol. Just pleeeeease give me Raven!

Yea, I feel you. The show was great, but they're better in the comics. Raven was kinda bitchy in the show, and she's really sweet in the comics. Also, the show kinda overshadowed Roy Harper and Donna Troy, though Speedy and Aqua Lad did make any appearance. Still... lots of important Titans left out of the show.

beast boy could be a real fun character to design (and play with). I'd imagine he'd be real-juggle oriented--launching his opponents and keeping them on their toes with his various animal forms.

I hope Deathstroke doesn't turn into Cable 2.0 and has a 1 button instant fireball/gun. That could ruin the game for me. Maybe if it's a half circle motion or a z motion forward (to make it less safe) it would be more balanced.

Thanks to the Dark Knight Rises, the inclusion of Bane will boost sales like crazy. I have no problem with all the Batman characters, because all the Gotham related comics are the best of DC.
If I were to ask for characters, I'd go with current ones. Like Starfire, Constantine, Black Canary, Mera, Swamp Thing, Animalman, Hawkgirl, Martian Manhunter, etc.
I love Supergirl, Huntress, Batgirl, Powergirl, but they wouldn't add something that remarkably different.

darn 2 characters i was hoping wouldn't make it in... now dont get me wrong, I love Bane and the Batman universe and I think he totally deserves to be in this game, but I agree with all the whiners (to a much less degree) that there are just too many bat characters in the game. BUT COME ON the batman villains are great!!! They should just make a Batman only tournament fighter in the future...
BUUUUT I really didn't want Lex at all. Sure He is an amazing villain and the power suit lets him go toe to toe with anyone, but I feel like the position is just more deserving to someone else.
