Combofiend vs Filipino Champ FT20 with a FT10 runback in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

It's kind of ironic how Combofiend is a sh*t talker while he's winning, and complains when he loses and Champ doesn't really say much the whole time. And yet Combofiend is still seen as "the nice guy hero" and Champ is seen as a total dick. I'm not saying Combofiend is an ass and Champ is the nicest guy ever, I'm just saying stream monsters are quick to judge people.

Stream monsters, generally, tend to be quick to voice any thought that hits them, without any moderation from their brains.

Fchamp go for low blows. For example, he insults people's physical appearances (ie. pelican). Combofiend trash talks with more tact.

To be fair Combo did tell the stream monster not to make excuses for him and that he was just getting beat.

Saw this live, Combo's been off his A-game.

Combofiend talks trash with his friends, but with strangers he is polite.
Friends can accept the trashtalk and let it slide......just saying.

The thing about Combofiend is he's as good as he wants to be, when he wants to be. In their FT10 last week, he won because he was hyped and having fun. This week he lost because you can tell he wasn't into it.

He always says he doesn't have fun with Nova like he does with She-Hulk. But Champ wants him to use Nova.

He needs Nova to win, but the fact he doesn't like it makes him lose.

Combofiend has a career now and is making some proper cash so he can't sit around playing all day like Champ.

Filipino champ(i almost spelled "champ" as "tramp" lol) is an outspoken sh*t talker. While Combofiend is a sh*t talker too but more on the passive scale, he is more sly and sneaky when he says stuff. That's my observation over the years of watching them. To be honest most top players have an arrogant and stinky attitude anyways and not a humble attitude. Even the quietest top players. Even Daigo said himself long time ago when he won Alpha 3 he said to himself when people asked him how does it feel to win "of course i won! Who else could of won?". Daigo is quiet but im very sure deep in his thoughts he is saying foul things about other players lol i can tell just by how he looks at other players, he looks at them like they are below him, smug arrogant kind of look.

Because Combofiend is more just saying stuff to have fun and messing with a friend more than true sh*t talking. The reason people think Filipino Champ is a dick is because of stuff like calling Dios X a pelican just because he was salty over losing that match, which really didn't matter since he beat him in Grand Finals anyway. That's a pretty fresh one, though, you can go back and catch a lot more of true Champ dickishness. That's not the same as Combo just poking fun at buddies while they kickin it on stream.

Man, Combo's Spencer and Champ's Dormammu have always been my favorite among all the other pro playing style. This 2 guys can make anyone cry ones you get caught in any attack.

Combo was not in his best on this video, but that doesn't mean Champ go easy on him. It was a nice set!

champ is obviously the better player now. Stop making excuses for combofiend, he hasn't been at the top of the top for a while in this game

The difference is that Combofiend's trash talking is for fun, Champ's is serious and more personal. Nothing wrong with that, there's a place in the community for both. I personally like both of them as players.

Daigo actually gives people dirty looks and rolls his eyes. If u paid attention to his face u can tell. He doesn't have to say anything you can just tell by the expression on his face. When he loses and smiles its like a fake smile not a humble one, one that looks a little arrogant. But of course if he is playing against you two he is laughing for real all the way cos he knows its free that's when hes really enjoying himself lol(joke)
