Dead or Alive 5's Hotties Swimwear and Fighter Pack DLC in game preview

i know its stereotypical, but i really would like to know if doa players thrive on this stuff.

haha ... I ended up buying the Fighters packs , after downloading the title update , Zack Island Stage and content update for free ... for less than a pound/dollar I thought I couldn't go wrong ... it' almost free .... might as well ... I thought ...

I just assumed I was just getting a bunch of casual clothes/past old costumes / palette swaps on various characters ( " fighter pack " is kinda vague ) ..... I didn't bother to read description ( not sure it was mentioned either ) ...

Needless to say I was not pleased .. it was just speedos/shorts for male characters ... lol ... oh well ... could be worse ... at least it's only 80msp down the drain ..

@1 That depends on the player themselves. Some DOA player would buy this kind of stuff, and some DOA player would pass on the DLC content. I'm one of the DOA player that buys every new DLC content.

BloodBurger, the guys aren't wearing swimsuit you know. They are wearing outfits that you see in a MMA ring like UFC. Even the pack is called "DOA Fighter Pack".

@5 Hate to break it to you but they're swimsuits. Tecmo/TN knew you wouldn't pay for a "Guys Swimsuit Pack" (Kappa), so they slapped some MMA gloves on some swim trunks and speedos and called it Fighter's Pack to sound more macho.

Its called marketing bro.

These costumes are just too expensive. Many are simple reskins of existing swimsuits that any modder could make in 20 minutes with a PC version of the game.

I love how the male pack cost like 80MSP for 11 costumes, discount or not, lol.

But seriously, enough with swimsuits, theres ENOUGH swimsuits already. Give us more normal or epic looking outfits, is that too much to ask?

But for real, you do this kinda thing for most dlc costumes released for other games as well. I for one can say I appreciate it, it lets me know what I'm getting in to and if I feel it's worth it.

Except for doa... I get all the doa dlc. Been playing the series since before I even knew what boobs were, has a special place in my heart. I have ALL of them bwahahahahahahhaaha!!
