Can't wait, last year was pretty hype. Fuudo & Itazan will be there as well.

I'm guessing Gamerbee & Poongko will team up with Ryan again in 3v3 but its strictly same nationality in 5v5.

What happened to Daigo? He's no longer hungry anymore. He's more concerned with being an ambassador for fighting games than competing to win like he use to.

That's why Infiltration bodied him twice. Infiltration was trying to make a statement, and Daigo is just content.

@10 Have you ever thought he's to busy to go to the tournament? Don't pretend to act like you know whats going through the mind of a man you probably couldn't even have a conversation with.

@11 You are correct, it would be quite difficult to have a conversation with Daigo as I do not speak Japanese and he doesn't speak English, at least not very well.

My comment did come off as a little trollish, but its pretty clear Daigo attended less international tournaments last year than the previous years.

He even made that MvC3 challenge to American players but never seemed to play the game seriously.

I commend his efforts for trying to advance the fight game community as a psuedo ambassador, but he seems content with being more an icon for these events than participating in them.

Just my two cents, don't collect them personally.

@#14 Believe it or not, he actually went to more international tournaments in 2012 than 2011. :S
2011 - 3 - ReveLAtions, NorCAl Regionals and Evo.
2012 - 5 - LG Cup, SEA, CEO, Evo and SF25th.

2010 was the only year he went to pretty much everything.

@10 basically no one cares about SF4 by now and few TOs are going to be willing to break the bank to get Daigo attending their event. Just look at CEO last year, Daigo came and yet everyone was more interested in asking When's Marvel.

Daigo himself has never been any more or less hungry now than he was back in 2009-2010, it's just that the competition has leveled up and he no longer looks as godlike.

maybe Daigo is focusing on EVO, EVO is the main tourny a player would wanna win, plus Daigo has been playing and winning tournaments since a long long time ago,he might be burn out.Just my guesses, what do i know. But i do remenber Tokido saying the Japanese feel AE is getting stale
