My edit expired already damn, but it sounds like they brought Jen Hale to voice Hawkgirl. Would have have prefered the JLU VA, but Hale is the next best thing. SO EXCITED!

Keep in mind, Sinestro's powers work off of fear. Meaning that most if not all of his constructs, will be made out of creepy and or disturbing stuff. That alone gives him plenty of moveset possibilites that Hal simply don't have.

So I was right. The yellow glimpse in that trailer a few weeks ago was actually Sinestro.

Normally I would say SuperMan got this free, however Senistro exploits with FEAR and Superman dealt with some traumatic things making his mental state unclear, Sinestro could explot that. Superman of course will win the vote though.

Green Arrow vs Hawkgirl can go either way and not sure who will win in fight. They both are fairly obscure so the vote could go either way

do we really need another Green Lantern type character? Hawkgirl is nice tho. Give us Batgirl or Supergirl. They said more girls coming. :)

There are plenty of female DC characters that could be in the game other than copies of male characters already in the game.

Like a person above already mentioned. Sinestro looks far more interesting than GL already. Hawkgirl could of seen that coming as per the trailers before.

Looking better and better. Now more combat trailers like Aquaman etc would be great.

Yes! 3 of my 5 favorite DC characters are in (Sinestro, Shazam, Nightwing). Here's hoping for Martian Manhunter and Azrael(doubt it) to round out my top 5.

Roster size will prob be 26 to 28.

Sinestro! Too awesome. Wish we got more Sinestro gameplay though...Oh well we'll have to wait till Friday. I have to say though Hawkgirl's design is pretty interesting.

Both of these are fantastic additions, can't wait to see them in action on Friday.

I cant say why people care if they have more girl characters or not. I see four right now, harley wonder cat and hawke..... out of 24 or more... okay I see it a little. Still add characters that would be good for the story like red hood since he would probably side with superman or power girl since it be interesting to see supes family's reaction. also characters who would fight interesting like starfire and her keep away flight style or firestorm going in between his powers of chemistry. see, women can be useful as examples. but men can too even if we have alot more of them

@57: Only Wonder Woman has the so-called "man-face"/handsomeness but it fits with her archetype and experience. Harley, Catwoman, and Hawkgirl (will probably have a helmetless alt) look fine.

I never understood Hawk Girl. In a world full of insanely overpowered characters, all she does is fly, hit people with a mace, and...have boobs. She's probably one of the worst DC characters out there, simply because she's plain as hell. Giving someone the standard super strength, then tossing in wings and calling it a day isn't exactly...helping them out.

I guess her being a reincarnate of other Hawk people sort of adds flavor, but nothing useful per-say...

Voted for Superman because Kal-El is the perfect man. <3
And also voted for Hawkgirl because for some reason I've never cared about Green Arrow, and I like the Hawkgirl from Earth 2.

Yeah Hawkgirl is kind of lame but they had to have one Hawk character and EB hates Hawkman. I'm certain Raven is in...so hopefully Starfire is in too. Starfire's costume is pretty damn similar to the MK ninja girls (particularly Mileena's) outfits.

Superman is a gimme (due to popularity alone), Hawk and Arrow is a tough one. I really like Arrow, but Hawkgirl is a badass. I'm kinda leaing towards Arrow because of the show and he was a fairly major character in one of the Justice League shows. Now I'm just waiting for Black Canary, Swamp Thing, and Gorilla Grod. I'd really like Talia Al'Ghul, but everyone's gonna hate me for requesting more bats :p

Hawkgirl is okay but she's pretty bland as a character. I would love to see what they come up with gameplay wise because she seems like she would just be another boring power character but we will see.
Fingers crossed for Zatana. If she's in then I could care less for who else makes it in.

The winners are picked by the game developer, not by what the people are actually voting.
Superman will win over Sinestro even if the people will vote otherwise!

The game should have more characters than 30 flat out without the DLC ones.
Dlc will probably be like 8 characters wich will be great!

PS: i'm sure there will be hidden characters also to discover by advancing into the game's story

UMvC3 us two different properties with a total of 48 characters. That comes out to 24 each, which is lower than your "pathetic" threshold.

26-30 is more than enough on disc. That's as much or more than 90 percent of current fighters ship with.

SFIV shipped with 25 same with KoFXIII, MvC3 shipped with 38 characters so despite being two different properties in one game it only shipped with 8-10 more chars. It goes on dude, it's more than enough for a completely new IP.
