Hit the jump to check out a compilation of wins achieved in Pandora Mode.

@2 Tell me about it. It would've made proving pandora was useful in vanilla much easier, cause I could've easily found vids of people winning with Pandora specifically. That kinda feature would've been even more useful for making compilations of any type of win: cross assault, super, perfects or even draws. Still, i'm just content that more people have contributed for Pandora this time around, and glad these videos have been featured.
I did some experimenting with pandora in training mode today. I'm still not seeing the benefit of it. You basically just get a little damage boost which can be amplified if you don't mind using one or two of your gem slots for pandora-only gems (which would be a waste 90 percent of the time).
They should make it so that the damage scaling resets once you activate it. That way the reward actually matches the risk more closely. As of now, you need the perfect situation, a really high damage team and 2 pandora-only gems just to do damage a little above what's possible without pandora.
@5 the benefits are that you can cancel pretty much everything into it, the extra boost damage and the FULL meter.
@7 Don't activate it randomly, it work best on hit confirm, you'll need some set ups.
Nice vids, still tring to adapt to Raven nerfs, I really feel naked without my backward jumping shurikens.
#8 Actually, you can't cancel any move into Pandora Mode, that is way you only see activation after an EX-Move, Ground Bounce and Wall Bounce.
#6 Great anime with epic fights and epic music.
#10 And what are those? None of them are done by design: One is an advantage on a jump cancel, the other is a glitch and the last one is an alien from the perfect execution planet.
The character most return to his original stance in order to activate.
Pandora is great for countering someone who's pressuring you when u get up and also to keep your combos going when u need a little more to kill. Great example there's a point on the first video that has a Lars and jin team and the Lars did a ex move but it wasn't going to kill so when he did the ex dp for Lars he pandora after he landed and did jins super to finish the combo and kill ;)
@8 raven problems lol stop doing lame jump katana runaway and learn how to use raven. he's actually pretty damn good. look for dimineon videos on how he's uses raven he just won winter brawl today using him lol
@5 so let me get this straight damage reset on pandora? Lol so ok do a combo that does lets say 500 damage then I use pandora do a super then your dead lol that makes no sense lol Jesus think before you speak. Or better yet let's make it that u can activate pandora when ever you want lol oh wait that's marvel lol
No offense to the video creator, alot of the moments shown would have probably killed without the need to pop pandora. Cool vids though
I think Pandora is good enough as it is. It is not suppose to be the OP comeback factor X factor is, it is a situational mechanic. Don't think we will ever see teams or tactics based around pandora, but it will provide a few cool moments hopefully.
Interesting to see the mixed comments here, though it is mainly positive. To be fair using Pandora is completely at the discretion of the player, and sometimes there really is no other option. It's important to note that when your opponent's health is around or below 500 all you need is a Pandora set up to kill them, for either no meter or one bar; activate Pandora then you get all 3. Pandora's now a way of giving yourself a full stock to turn the tide in your favor, and when used correctly can punish or reversal a decision made by the other player. Also, to some of these naysayers I wonder if they even watched all of both videos. And @15 maybe, but alot of the time the people who did it, myself included, were aiming for the Pandora finish because we knew it could work or it was our only option, and time was running out, risking the mixup or letting them tag out would've only been bad for us. As I said, it's a way of finishing them off and punishing their decisions, it's not this one size fits all comeback mechanic and it shouldn't be looked at that way, it never has been to be honest. Still, to everyone that did appreciate these videos, thank you.
Pandora doesn't need to be better. The player needs to be better.
