Xbox Live sale offers several top fighers via games on demand for up to 75-85% off There's a sale coming up on over 60 Xbox 360 games on demand titles, where their price will be reduced up to 75% and in some cases, 85%. Titled the 'Xbox Ultimate Game Sale', it's unclear which games will receive the steepest discounts, but it's worth keeping an eye on Major Nelson's Twitter account where he'll be announcing which title is on sale every day from February 26, 2013 to March 4, 2013.

Several of the community's most popular fighting games are a part of this sale, here's a rundown of all of the fighters mentioned:

• Mortal Kombat 9
• Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe
• Street Fighter 4
• Street Fighter X Tekken
• Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition
• Tekken 6
• Tekken Tag Tournament 2
• The King of Fighters 13
• Virtua Fighter 5

@2 I wouldn't count on it. Its only Games On Demand. Meaning disc based games gone downloadable only.

Hmmm I hope this ain't a bait and switch. After the PS4 event and announcment (Sort of) Microsoft is attracting everyone to buy 360 games on demand but what happens if the Xbox 720 is'nt backwards compatable with 360 games like the PS4? That would suck. Microsoft I think is announcing stuff April.

@ 9 we won't know until tuesday probably.

I am really hoping KOF gets a heavy discount. I want that game, but can't justify spending $40+ when I am so busy.

As mentioned above, on-demand purchases should be carefully considered in light of Sony's recent announcement. Especially with games similarly priced to their disc counterparts. KOF, for one, can be had at a similar price.

@Crondizzle
As to knowledge, Playstation plus gives you FREE games just for joining that service. Recently SF4AE being one of them. So yeah...stay FREE PP+ owners, seems like a good deal to me.
(and I play Xbox the most)

Is it vanilla VF5 or VF5FS?

I would guess that it is VF5, the sale is for GoD not XBLA and FS is an XBLA title IIRC.

This may seem like a dumb question but what is XBox On Demand? Does that mean I have to be online to play my games if I buy them, or is it just their branding like PSN digital downloads?

@22 sfxt only have 1 version.

If you talking about 2013 version, all you have to do is update the game via internet, and it's free.
