Daigo Umehara has second book in the works based on Arcadia columns

MCZ|Daigo Umehara's Arcadia columns are being compiled into a book, with the contents being supervised by the man himself. It will be released on February 25, 2013 and will cost 998 yen, or about $10.76 USD. You can find the listing on Amazon.jp.

Titled Ken no Maki, the 112-page book will also contain additional content from Daigo, besides his column entries, which date back from 2009. This is currently only available in Japanese, and no word has been expressed about a translation.

Daigo's first book, The Willpower to Keep Winning, has performed quite well sales wise and having a second publication come out is definitely a good sign for The Beast, and his popularity in the community.

Daigo "So Hollywood" Umehara

Daigo touched upon the importance of "public appearance" in his previous book. It's important to be as attractive as possible for media reasons. That's part of reason why he's working out and looking good in front of camera.

Face it, nobody wants to look at Marn, Floe or Aris as the face of fighting game world. They want UltraDavid and Rico Suave, you know, people who are not obese or sexist neck beard.
