It wasn't put up by the players, it was backed by side bets. Also it wasn't 50K for each player, that was the total pot. So yes 50K on the line did happen but fanatiq didn't get most of that money cuz he didn't bet.

Fanatiq = Floyd Mayweather. Floyd would duck, talk his way out of a certain fighter until the big bucks can be generated then he goes in and beats the player everyone thought he wasnt better than or scared of. This was a runback. They played for 26K previously and Toan won that one.

When they say $50,000 money match they don't mean each dude put up 25,000 and played. There was about $50,000 in side bets and backer's funds on this fight. Still a lot but split between a lot more people than the two playing.
