It has been reported by several readers that the Dead or Alive 5 ver. 1.03A patch has been released on PlayStation 3 today. This update will fix the Stagger Escape issue that was discovered in the ver. 1.03 patch a few weeks back.

The update is still currently being worked on for Xbox 360 and a release date has not yet been divulged.

Additionally, TecmoKoeiAmerica uploaded a tag combo video in order to promote the new patch. This compilation shows off some great tag combos with numerous characters on the roster.

Where's fabfred shaking his funny-shaped head, crying about the lack of Ein and Leon?

Their tag animations are kind of...awkward. Like, they just "exist" out of nowhere. Not a natural transition in the slightest. I find it odd.

Poor Jann Lee and Kokoro, both very good characters but when tagged together are pretty weak. That combo started at half life so that way it would look good at the end but both of them could do that kind of damage solo. so far the Ayane and Kasumi combo seems to hit the hardest

It's DOA3.1 all over again. Great stuff... (Still waiting on that patch release date for the 360...)

The most important feature in this game, you can shake the boobs now with your dual-shock.

I always wondered why games with nice tag mechanics are never featured in major tournaments playing tag mode. After seeing this vid I understand. Look at those damage. Way too broke.
