That first replay of Daigo using Yun is old (before Evo 2012). Daigo's rank is currently 39 with 6014PP and rank 1990 in PP has 4024PP

@3 when you view the video on youtube the comments have people saying "Daigo working on his counterpick!" just wanted to make it clear before people started making assumptions

I am fairly certain Daigo always goes with Yun in the Yang matchup.

The only time I recall him playing against a Yang at a Tourney in AE2012 was at the Japanese SF25th Qualifier against Kyoku, and he used Ryu there.

I'm pretty sure this match is from just after the 1st Topanga League(Late Feb/Early March 2012) when Daigo was having a bit of a character crisis. The PP rank matches up the that period.

Based on what I've watched in the past and that Yun handles Yang better than Ryu so it would make more sense as a counterpick. I unfortunately can't give you a single example of a tourney off the top of my head, but I really don't think it's such an outrageous claim to hold burden of proof for to back up, "fairly certain" but I have seen him use Yun for the Yang and Dhalsim matchups before as deep into the v2012 life as we are
