Why do they look so dull? Unless they all look like that second Batman?
I would prefer if they just chose to release classic skins for DLC. I'm not really the biggest fan of the Nolan 'Dark Knight' Batman. Maybe one for Wonder Woman without pants too.
I think the best preorder is the Arkham one, if only it wasn't from Walmart.
Amazing! This DLC pack is definetely a must buy for me.
I hope there is a season pass thing, like in mk9, where you get all of these costumes and the eventual DLC characters for a discount. Still will cost too much, but damn if the costumes ain't cool.
I really want to see if best buy will be doing a pre-order bonus but right now I am more interested in the Arkham city skins in Walmart
@11 They will probably keep robin in the comics and not in the game I dont know if they want to show an 11 year old or whatever Damian age is getting beat up by grown men/women
@5 Maybe because they're dead? (They're all zombies) But I'll suppose you didn't even bother looking info about the Blackest Night comics.
Black Lantern Batman looks sick!!!!!
@21 Fear not, this is noeither Capcom nor EA we're dealing with.
@15
Bao and Momoko get beaten up by grown men/women in KOF. Tron gets beaten up in MvC3. You get my point? That doesn't matter in this game either. Hell, Joker killed Jason Todd Robin and he was just a kid. So far, the only Robin to die.
Damien would be awesome in this game (or Tim but whatever).
@22 you are sooo wrong
you think that only capcom is greedy ? everyone will pull out their card someday it's just a matter of time (I mean in fighting games in general gaming it is happening long long before SFxT )
It's just cool to hate capcom (I really hate them for westernizing all franchises though )
@26 I was just about to say that. At least NRS gave the illusion the characters were made/finished post release. Not to get too distracted, but freaking Capcom introduced Cody and Guy in a trailer very early on and then expected us to not think they were finished when found on the disc?
Ooh so I guess the Wonder Woman theyre showing trailers of is the DLC one, I see...had me second guessing Wonder Woman
@26 Are you retarded? $20 for 12 characters(and thats leaving out SFIV and UMvC3), some of which have the exact same moves as others already in the game and others are re-used from SFIV. And most importantly, $14/$18 for costume packs? And theres several of them when you count SFIV, MvC3 and SFxT? Theres more than $100 worth of costumes alone from Capcom (from all 3 major games), that's right, I'm not even counting dlc characters or expansions. Meanwhile NRS, 4 completely unique characters, $15 for the bundle, plus a $5 costume pack (there are more than 1 costume pack but the others are FREE), which sums a grand total of $20 worth of dlc overall. You sure you wanna argue about which company rapes your pocket the most? lol
@23 Jason getting killed by Joker is show in a comic and movie so that point is invalid and tron is in the mech suit so her getting beat up isnt graphic like showing Bane breaking Damains back or batman running his sons over and I dont know about that kof stuff i dont play anime games.
Im just saying stuff in this game will show some pretty graphic stuff happening to a kid like robin if in. Imagine Deathstroke super on Damian or superman beating up a kid I doubt dc wants that even though sups does resorts to killing in the story. I wont lie seeing Damian getting punched from outerspace from suprrman will be funny since I dont really like Damin as a character I rather have Tim Drake.
@25 The only company inside the fighting genre, raping everyone's pocket in a huge scale, is Capcom. Namco doesn't even sell dlc characters, only costumes for SCV. NRS has some, but very affordable and some are even free (like I said in a previous post, a total of $20 worth of dlc). SNK barely has any dlc besides music and a few characters (I believe 3 or 4 I'm not sure). SEGA (Virtua Fighter), game is $15, dlc is $30, which is a total $45 for everything, and thats $15 less then any regular retail game. Arksys (BlazBlue/Guilty Gear), barely has any dlc. And I think (I might be wrong), but Atlus P4A doesn't even have dlc yet. The only exception is Team Ninja (DoA 5), and still, they're not even halfway to reach Capcom when you sum the total amount of money they take away in dlc alone. In other words, no, not every company is doing it, and the ones that do, are fair with their prices and content. Bottom line, as much as I love Street Fighter, Capcom's goal right now is take your money, and release a half assed product, with close to no content in it. And they top it all by including the dlc on the disc, which means they're charging you extra money for something you already have.
@34 Ed Boon said that at some point in the story line, they'll explain why super heroes are fighting each other, and why some can survive any of the moves when normally, they'd die. Hopefully, when we get the "explanation", it'll make sense. But I don't blame you for thinking like that, I can't imagine anyone surviving Superman's super under regular situations. lol
@36 Lol no no I know about all that im just saying people are so sensitive to children in games you dont see them getting hurt or if so its done quick not that graphic and sometimes done off screen. Like playing games like fallout you cant hurt children or gta where there is no children it is common that they dont show stuff like that I think bioshock though you can harm those little sisters draining them or something. But in a game like this where theres superhereos its alittle unusal showing these hereos beating an eleven year old but whatever I could be wrong I can see robin in the cut scenes as a none playable character fighting but not where hes getting beaten really badly.
sigh. well i hope that all these costumes will be available soon after the game for a cheap price(probable around 20-30$). Note mk9 dlc all adds up to 20$ with free costumes included. all of sf x tk dlc is 70$-and up. truly sad
