Updated with final results: This story has been updated with the final results for the K.O. Fighting Game Festival.
Please add Santarouman and Gachi-kun to the list? They're pretty high level SF players :).
Great, time for me to crack open a can of soda and popcorn !
for those that wants to join the stream chat, here's the link of the embedded twitch channel
you can also access archives
@8 Weltall
Why the F should they accommodate to you on their own stream speaking their own language?
Are you that retarded and can't tell what's going on on screen without commentary?
Might as well quit the game if that's the case and learn to be a little bit less self centered.
Seriously Eventhubs you couldn't have highlighted this? I know it's a matter of reading but there is so many news on this site that you might overlook a thing or two. I think current tournaments and events should be at the top of the page constantly.
I almost missed out on this and I did nothing the whole day, FÙCK YOU
*Reads #16 post..*
*scrolls up and look at top stories and sees "• K.O. Fighting Game Festival live stream, featuring Daigo, Mago, Tokido, ..."*
*Facepalms*
People don't even try to look anymore.
Special guest - Daigo Umehara

He will team up with Tokido and Mago
UURRRGGHHHHHH #8 never post again You ignorance is so cringe worthy :/
Sorry, miscommunication. Chris G is on a business trip.
I'm confused. The schedule on the news doesn't make sense:
Thursday at 5 p.m. UTC / 6 a.m. PST
Friday at 4 p.m. UTC / 5 a.m. PST
Saturday at 4 p.m. UTC / 5 a.m. PST
UTC, which is the same as GMT, is 8 hours ahead of PST (PST = GMT-8). The math in this schedule doesn't add up. What's the actual schedule?
why aren't you updating the story with results? here is AE bracket http://challonge.com/KOFGF_AE
Just for information
I know some of these characters:
KichijojiKEN (Ken), Akimo (E. Honda), Rariken (Sagat)
Okkun (Ibuki), Shin (Juri), Gachikun (Sagat)
Gannoon (Sakura), Aziz, Dookey (Ken)
Beh, Ma3an, Fawaz (Fei Long)
Also DM|Xiam OCV'd the Japanese Team
I missed the event, is there an archive anywhere?
daigo doesn't get to play. Why go to this tournament. lol
As much as I like watching teams for AE, I'm quite surprised that there isn't a singles tournament. Teams are normally on the side and for pride of your team/area, while imo singles are for determining who is the best (ie the main idea of a tournament)
Justin went to this tournament because he knew Chris G would not show. All those tournament of not making top 5 must be hurting his feeling.
Why are they commentating in Japanese now? Bring it back to English! It's in Kuwait after all, and there are a lot of English speaking viewers watching this! Take that Japanese guy off the mic and let Zhi and one of the Kuwait guys to commentate.
I'm shocked no one mentioned the Tekken Grand finals that was probably the most hype match of this whole event. Sayid Hashim was putting on a show from making Tokido and Ryan Heart look so free Running it back against BMNS-13. hopefully we get to see more from this guy.
the event was fun as hell, not the best stream quality but sure i had fun with the hype and the almost unbeareable amounts of habibi
Stream looked smooth and stable, better than a lot of streams from American majors. I think the Kuwait venue had good internet connection. I saw zero lag or delayed audio.
Tourney was great to watch, even Tekken was enjoyable with good matches. Commentators were top notch. Hype and knowledgeable. Where did the commentators get all that experience lol
AE was of course superb, too bad the twitch chat server sucked and we couldn't chat during the many hype moments
also wanted to add that eventhubs did a great job promoting this Kuwait event. A lot of times there are great tourneys in other countries that people miss cuz of last minute article about them, but eventhubs mentionned this tourney over a week in advance with a lot of reminders, so there were over 12 000 people watching this tourney at one point
