Today, all the remaining DLC for Street Fighter X Tekken on the PC has hit the Steam store which includes the 12 characters, costume swaps, gems and more.Tip sent in by Vawned, Snow_Monkey, Shwa, zx_adit, Sir_Pantsalot, Necreon, RebornOdin, fenixrisingxl, HUFFMASTER J, MajorPug and an anonymous reader.
@5 the netcode is definitely a problem. i have no issues with landing 1 frame links online w/ sf4 green connections. i can rarely find a game in sfxt that doesn't have weird stuttering or isn't running slower than normal.
that or it's just a big coincidence that everyone playing sfxt has bad internet or a bad connection w/ me.
Steam only I think. Have you ever known Microsoft to try and not rip you off beyond all belief? because I haven't
Microsoft and Capcom love to just empty our pockets
If it's Steam only this is absolutely bonkers.
Also, are the DLC colors working for you guys (ie. can you download and install)?
I'm getting the same error the guys who purchased the character DLC before today got, god why did they have to go with the sh*tty ass GFWL.
@ #5
PC version is still 1.06.
I'm happy to have gotten SFxT on steam sale for $7.00 and the dlc characters now for $5.00. $13.00 is totally worth it even at ver 1.06.
Hurry up and give me 2013 so I can be really happy.
#14 It's http://raptoriic.com/ what you linked to gets a 403 error, scrub ;)
And the full costume pack is only 3 dollars less than the full game.
CAPCOM knows where their priorities are.
Not gonna buy...i really would buy them if the game was playable...
@ #19
Damn so I'm not the only one...
Looks like it's just some issue on their part with the horrendous GFWL, hopefully they fix it soon.
What I don't get though: was 1.07 supposed to drop today? Will 1.07 actually ever come, or will PC go straight to 1.08?
@23
Same here, goddamn installation error 800B0100, and no discounts (I guess that will reduce the price as they fix the problem in time), Capcom is "improving" increasingly with their "promises" of simultaneous launches.
As for the 1.07 and 1.08 updates in theory is QLOC working on their adaptation to reduce the delay time of its release, but seeing how they do things lately...
@ #23
I see same damn error.
Hope they address this soon and that we all get the discount.
Thanks man!
@ #25
Some people like to have a boxed copy of the game, some more buy games on the shady russians sites to save some bucks.
On launch, Steam is goddamn expensive.
really disappointing... I got SFxT off Windows Live instead of Steam, would have really liked to get the DLC on sale. Definitely not forking out for the game again, and not buying the DLC for full price. Hopefully there will be a sale in the future for those who don't have the Steam copy.
Do any of you guys know a way of essentially tricking Steam into letting me use the DLC even though my copy of the base game came from another source?
Bought the game for a friend, bought the DLC for myself and two others.
Can't wait until the 2013 update comes to PC.
I'm running into the same problem with GFW as well. All this new free content to download, and I receive an error every time I try. Plus, as many other folks have realized, Steam seems to be the only one with the sale. I wish there was a way to get Steam to fully recognize games that were legitimately purchased outside of their marketplace.
As question for anyone who's bought the DLC content over Steam: when you purchase it, are you given a code to unlock the content once your're in the game. If so, then in theory, anyone with the game (whether you've bought it via Steam or not) can still take advantage of it.
Color me foolish for thinking that my M$ points would mean $h!t when it came to this sale...
In a lot of ways in how STEAM is pretty great, their policy with DLC isn't one... They basically put the boot down and force publishers to provide any DLC they're selling for their game to be distributed through STEAM if they want to continue selling their core game on there.
Also, while you can typically get a GFWL DLC to work with a STEAM game, it doesn't work the other way around. Kinda lame.
Also lame that the DLC isn't on sale on the marketplace. Sorry for those that don't have/don't want the STEAM version, it's a bummer.
@ #39
Yeah it's that with GFWL being glitched as hell (No DLC characters, no colors, stupid error 800B0100), I was hoping that at least the Steam version was working.
A couple people asked on Capcom United but they're staying silent.
Actually, are the DLC characters working on Steam?
@ #41
Thanks for that.
Maybe we can also try creating a new thread on CU and gather some messages there to get some visiblity?
It's pretty silly that they announce DLC characters, patch and discounts, and we don't get neither of them (also, colors not working anymore, what the hell...)
For ppl who are complaining about lag issues on online matches.

Some tweaks apparently solves lag and warps on this game.
@43
It's useless. Some people (myself included) already tried it when the bugged DLCs first came to GFWL, with no answer from Capcom. Actually, they completely ignored these complaints and apologized to Steam users only. Capcom is making the same mistake twice in a row (they promised that the patch and DLCs would be released for both GFWL and Steam simultaneously, but turned their back to their promise and to GFWL users).
Contacting the Micro$oft crew is equally useless, since they just say that they're supposedly working in this issue, and Xbox Live Chat Support supposedly applies to Xbox 360 only.
@ #47
I don't get it though, is this working on Steam? And if it is, how on earth is it possible, since it's supposed to use GFWL?
All of this is stupid though, and luckily I'm not among those who bought the characters as soon as they appeared on the store - and it's the ones who really showed support to the game that just had it worse.
Someone mentioned on Steam boards that 1.07 will address online play, is there any news on that?
Hi folks, Christopher (Capcom Employee) wrote me wondering about GFWL problem. I've described in detail the issue of the problem in the Marketplace and sent him DxDiag reports. It will be something formal, but at least we have captured their attention, let's see if we are lucky. :)
@48 We must remember that third party games distributed on Steam with DLCs must follow Valve's policy regarding the distribution of downloadable content. I mean, SFxTK DLCs are only Steam matter. not GFWL. GFWL is just another damn DRM added to the package, unfortunately.
@49 DoomGuy86
Yes, that's how things work there. GFWL and Steam are entirely different services, that's why the policies and results with patches and DLCs are different for each one.
About the problem with GFWL, I also appreciate very much your doing. Even if they don't - or can't - do anything to fix it, at the very least they ARE aware of it.
Anyway, I guess it's quite likely that Capcom will drop GFWL in favor of Steam from now on.
