Squigly having more progress shown. She has some great animation with a hilarious SnapBack

Mike Z mentioned more characters indirectly. He wants to make more. But unfortunately money and the publishers got in the way.

He also mentioned they had a Drive planned to judge investment in more things. It was delayed for the EVO drive but it sounds like it could happen eventually since it was approved.

From Ravi on SRK for the future

"But, yeah, we're crowdfunding her! This won't be a typical crowdfunding thing, though: when she comes out she'll be free for a limited time for everyone, and after three months or so, her price will go up to $5. This is to add a "ticking clock" element to it and try to minimize possible freeloaders, and encourage people to pay $5 now if they were planning on doing it the "normal" way.

We're still finalizing the rewards, but I can say that we'll have PC codes w/ beta access for one of the tiers. I think people should be excited about, since it means they'll get to playtest characters in development and provide feedback, something that... really doesn't happen outside of Japan? Or even inside of Japan, unless you're Daigo or something.

And...

The first stretch goal is a male character."

Not sure if this is worth posting another article for, although SG PSN release in Japan certainly is

@8: really? i hope it was one of the more exciting Brawl matches.

but very exciting if @6's info is right, a Kickstarter (basically) for DLC characters? and the first is a male character? sick.

Anything with Metaknight and Zero Samus is brawl. Easy way to tell them games apart.

I'm so glad we got clarity on what was happening with Skullgirls and its PC port. My brother and I was getting a bit upset that the PC port was supposed to come a month or so after the console release but it kept getting delayed further and further. So Mike Z, if you're reading this, thank you for your transparency and update and we still look forward to the PC port.
